Through the end of this month, you can convert Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles into Marriott Bonvoy points with a 20% conversion bonus.

For those unaware, you can convert Marriott Bonvoy hotel points into airline miles with dozens of participating airlines, and some airlines also offer transfers in the opposite direction — from the airline over to Marriott. Right now, Singapore Airlines is offering a 20% boost on these conversions of airline miles into hotel points, but it ends on September 30, 2025.

Does it make sense to use this transfer bonus? Let’s take a look.

Singapore Airlines to Marriott Bonvoy Transfer Bonus Details

Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles typically convert to Marriott Bonvoy points at a 2:1 ratio, using a 3,000:1,500 transfer rate. With this limited-time offer, you can turn 3,000 KrisFlyer miles into 1,000 Bonvoy points.

However, through March 31, 2025, you can receive a 20% bonus on transfers, resulting in a 3,000:1,800 transfer ratio. Conversions are available here, and you’ll first need to link your accounts before you can make transfers.

You’ll also need to have at least 3,000 miles in your KrisFlyer account to initiate a transfer or see the bonus.

You must convert a minimum of 3,000 miles, and you’ll receive 1,800 Marriott Bonvoy points for each 3,000 KrisFlyer miles you send.

This offer is available until September 30, 2025, at 11:59 a.m. ET in the U.S.

Is It Worth It?

We value Marriott Bonvoy points at 0.7 cents each and KrisFlyer miles at 1.35 cents each. Using those numbers, 3,000 KrisFlyer miles are worth $40.50. You could turn those into $12.60 worth of hotel points — not a good idea.

Even with the 20% transfer bonus from KrisFlyer to Marriott Bonvoy, the math doesn’t make sense. These conversions make even less sense during normal times, during which you’ll turn $40.50 worth of airline miles into $10.50 worth of Marriott points.

This conversion could only make sense in a few situations, like your KrisFlyer miles are about to expire, you have a very small balance, and you don’t think you’ll ever use them. Thus, you could save them from expiration by sending them to Marriott instead.

Most people don’t check all those boxes, so the conversions won’t make sense for the majority of people.

Final Thoughts

Through September 30, you can receive a 20% bonus on points transfers from Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer to Marriott Bonvoy. This bonus won’t make sense for most people. For those who have KrisFlyer miles they don’t intend to use, however, this could be a good bonus to jump on before it disappears.
