For a limited time only, the Scandinavian carrier is giving away 500 EuroBonus points for completing a few simple tasks via its app. It’s notoriously difficult to earn points for EuroBonus if you live in the U.S., which makes this particular offer all the more interesting.

First things first, you’ll need to have an SAS EuroBonus account. If you don’t have one already, you’ll need to sign up before October 28, which is when the offer expires.

As I didn’t have an account, I downloaded the app and followed the instructions to sign up. Within a couple of minutes, my new account was set up.

Unlocking the 500 bonus points requires completing the following 5 steps: signing up for offers, turning on app notifications, testing out the Points + Cash slider, exploring your profile, and checking out the app’s online store.

In about 8 minutes, I’d downloaded the app, signed up for a profile, completed the steps, and had the 500 points confirmed as being en route to my account.

Is It Worth Chasing 500 EuroBonus Points?

Honestly, 500 points won’t get you very far on their own. However, for someone who already has an SAS EuroBonus account and needs a little top-up for their next redemption, 500 points could be just what they need to make their trip happen.
