Delta Air Lines is adding Saturday flights to 7 popular leisure destinations to its summer 2025 schedule. These flights will depart from the carrier’s Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), and Minneapolis (MSP) hubs and include destinations in the U.S. and Dominican Republic.

These routes are not to new cities. Instead, they’re meant to boost capacity to popular tourist destinations during the busy summer travel season. Here’s everything you need to know about these new routes and when you can fly them.

Final Thoughts

It’s great to see Delta add new flights to its summer schedule. While these only depart on Saturdays, they add much-needed capacity to popular tourist destinations around North America. It also shows that Delta is following the industry-wide trend of doubling down on leisure travel during the summer months.

These flights make it clear that Delta expects a busy summer travel season in 2025. In addition to these new routes, the airline will operate its largest transatlantic summer schedule ever, including over 700 weekly flights to 33 European destinations. The carrier is launching new leisure routes to Belgium, Italy, Ireland, and Spain and boosting capacity on other popular European routes next summer.
