The super swanky One&Only hotel chain has some pretty exciting news. This fall, it will open its first U.S. resort, One&Only Moonlight Basin.

“We are thrilled to announce that One&Only Moonlight Basin is now accepting reservations, inviting guests to experience a new era of hospitality in the heart of the Montana Rockies,” said One&Only president Mark Kirby.

Here’s what you need to know about the resort and the best ways to book.

Reservations Available From November 18

One&Only Moonlight Basin covers 240 acres and is an hour away from Yellowstone National Park. The resort has 73 guest rooms and suites, plus 19 cabins. Amenities will include 6 bars and restaurants, a pool, a spa, and a fitness center.

The resort’s motto is “always in season,” and that’s certainly true. In the winter, you’ll be able to ski and snowboard the slopes of Big Sky and can fish, hike, bike, and more in the warmer months.

The hotel is about an hour and 20 minutes’ drive from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN).

Late last year, One&Only opened the One&Only Sky Lodge, which was designed as a precursor to Moonlight Basin. The Sky Lodge is home to the resort’s restaurant and bar, only accessible by private gondola or car. It also features retail, an alpine equipment center, and direct mountain access via the gondola.

If you aren’t familiar, One&Only is a collection of “one-of-a-kind resorts” and private lodging enmeshed in nature. You’ll find high-end amenities like spas and gyms, plus the ability to participate in outdoor activities like hiking and horseback riding.

The chain has an impressive presence, though Moonlight Basin is the first U.S. property. You’ll find One&Only in Dubai, the Maldives, Mauritius, and other desirable locations.

How To Book One&Only Moonlight Basin

One&Only Moonlight Basin is accepting reservations for stays staring on November 18, 2025.

Like other One&Only properties, you’ll fork over a pretty penny to stay here. A one-night stay at Moonlight Basin will cost you a whopping $2,400 per night on the cheapest dates.

While that high cost may seem mind-boggling, the resort’s amenities will more than make up for it.

Unfortunately, One&Only doesn’t have its own loyalty program. But that doesn’t mean you can’t maximize your stay here in other ways, particularly by using a travel rewards credit card. It’s also possible to cover your recent travel purchases with Capital One miles, giving you an option to use your rewards to offset the cost of the stay.

Final Thoughts

One&Only Moonlight Basin will officially open in November, which is exciting news for travelers who want to try out the brand in the U.S. The $2,400+ price tag might initially be shocking, but the resort offers one of the best ways to explore the Big Sky region, whether it’s on the slopes or via horseback.
