Point.me is a search engine that aggregates results for award flights, making it easier for travelers to find available award flights, no matter the level of expertise.

It’s a relatively new service, and now it’s made some meaningful improvements that will add even more utility for users — and the site is offering a special promotion to celebrate the upgrades.

Let’s take a look at what’s new and how you can take advantage of the current promotion.

Point.me Makes Upgrades to Search Function

Point.me sent an email to users describing some of the changes it’s made over the last few weeks. To start, it has added the ability to search for co-terminal airports. Many major cities — like New York, London, Tokyo, and more — have multiple airports that serve the principal city.

If we take New York as an example, it’s possible that an airline would have availability for a flight to or from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) but not John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) or LaGuardia Airport (LGA). Co-terminal searches allow users to search availability by destination, not by specific airport.

Now, within the Point.me interface, you can select All airports if you’re searching for flights to or from a destination served by multiple airports. You also can include or exclude any airports included in the list for a given city.

Point.me has also added multi-date search functionality, allowing users to look for flights on the day before or the day after the original search date to see more options. This is a big deal because award availability and fare prices can vary wildly depending on the day, even on the same route. The requirement to search for each date individually was one of the biggest downsides to this service in the past.

Finally, Point.me says that it has increased the speed of its search results by up to 30%, which means users will start seeing results in as few as 7 seconds.

How To Get 4 Free Months of Point.me

If you’re a former Point.me member, there’s an offer to get 4 months of the service for free if you rejoin and use the promo code POINTMEFASTER. Note this offer is only valid for 24 hours, so you’ll need to act fast if you want to claim it.

Final Thoughts

Point.me has quickly become a top resource for award travelers, thanks to its ease of use and strong functionality. The latter has just gotten a big boost, thanks to new features making it more practical and quicker — and Point.me says there are more improvements to come.

The cherry on top is that returning users can score 4 months of free access. Just remember to act on it within the next 24 hours!
