This discount is available for travel booked between July 18, 2023, and July 31, 2023, for stays through September 1, 2023.

Bookings through the Last Minute Escapes sale are non-refundable and there may be minimum-stay requirements and blackout dates. While the promotion mentions savings of 35%, we found most deals had a savings of 30% with 5,000 I Prefer bonus points included.

If you prefer to book your hotel stays with points, you’ll be happy to know that over 500 Preferred Hotels locations participate in Choice Privileges. Reward nights range from 25,000 to 55,000 Choice points per night and are only bookable by phone by calling 877-803-7701.

There are many ways to earn Choice Privileges points including transferring them from American Express Membership Rewards, Capital One Miles, and Citi ThankYou Rewards. The best option is transferring from Citi since you’ll get 2 Choice points for every 1 Citi point transferred.
