As mentioned, Southwest’s Week of Wow promotion will give you double Rapid Rewards points on Southwest Airlines flights booked by 11:59 p.m. CT on January 13, 2025. You must register for this promotion on Southwest’s website before you book your flights.

Once enrolled, you’ll earn double points on flights flown between January 10 and May 21, 2025, so long as they were booked during the promotion period. If you plan on flying Southwest for your spring break trip, consider booking it before this offer expires.

This promotion applies to all Southwest fare types, so you’ll earn:

Wanna Get Away: 10x points per dollar (normally 5x)
Wanna Get Away Plus: 16x points per dollar (normally 8x)
Anytime: 20x points per dollar (normally 10x)
Business Select: 24x points per dollar (normally 24x)

There is no limit on the number of points you can earn from this promotion. It’s also worth noting that you will only earn double redeemable Rapid Rewards points, not double tier points toward A-List elite status or Companion Pass qualifying points.

Existing Southwest bookings are not eligible for this promotion. However, the airline doesn’t charge cancellation fees. Check previously booked Southwest flights and see if the price is the same (or lower) as when you booked it. If so, cancel and rebook your existing reservation to earn double points after you fly.
