Uber is running a promotion this month that will make your teen (and your wallet) happy.

As a way to celebrate the beginning of the school year, Uber is providing new teen account users with a free month of rides and food throughout the month of September.

Let’s explore how you can make the most of this exciting promotion.

Uber Teens September 2024 Promotion

For the month of September, Uber will provide new teen accounts with free rides and meals. All you have to do is add your teen to your Uber account. Once they’ve set up their account, they’ll be able to claim free trips and meals.

There is a limit of 6 rides, each capped at $20, and 6 eats orders, each capped at $20, throughout the month. Taxes and fees still apply.

This deal is only available to teens who are new teen account holders who have never ordered or taken a ride with an Uber teen account.

Is It Worth It?

Any opportunity to obtain free Uber trips and food with no strings attached is absolutely worth utilizing. This current Uber promotion for teens is something you should take advantage of if you have a teen in your family who has never ordered or taken a ride using an Uber teen account.

An up to $20 Uber Eats order can be maximized by ordering up to 6 times at qualifying restaurants, allowing your teen to receive nearly a week’s worth of meals for free. The same applies to Uber rides, so if your kid needs a ride to a friend’s house or to sports practice, this promotion will save them up to $20 on their next 6 Uber journeys.

Keep in mind that this offering will expire on September 30, 2024, or after all offers have been redeemed, so act quickly.

Hot Tip:

Uber provides special pricing and discounts to college students who sign up for Uber One at Starbucks, Taco Bell, and Wendy’s, in addition to offering free rides and eats for teens. Users can take advantage of this promotion until September 30t, 2024, by creating an Uber One for Students account.

Final Thoughts

Uber is running a generous promotion this month. A $20 Uber ride plus $20 Uber Eats credit that may be used up to 6 times is something even a moody teen can appreciate.

If you want to take advantage of this offer, be sure to add your teen to your account (if you haven’t already) and begin redeeming for rides and meals as soon as possible. The promotion expires on September 30 or all offers have been redeemed.
