Thanks to the United MileagePlus program’s most recent award sale, United co-branded cardholders can save on miles for economy tickets from the U.S. to various Latin American countries, such as Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and others. One-way awards are available for as little as 9,000 miles.

This award sale is exclusively available to United co-branded cardholders, who can book these awards at a discounted rate through April 9, 2025.

Although bookings must be made by April 9, 2025, travel is possible through September 30, 2025, making this flash sale perfect for the busiest summer months in Latin America.

United cardholders can choose from 20 destinations in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and nearby countries like Panama, Guyana, and Ecuador. Flights range from 9,000 to 30,000 miles one-way (round-trip taxes and fees start at $33.41).

For example, with this flash sale by United, cardholders can book a one-way award from Houston (IAH) to Monterrey (MTY), Mexico, for under 9,000 miles each way and $48 in taxes and fees. Blackout dates apply to select destinations between July 1 and July 31.
