After months of teasers and slowly releasing information about Epic Universe, Universal has finally set an opening date for its brand-new theme park: May 22, 2025.

This is earlier than many people were anticipating, so if you want to explore the 5 immersive worlds next summer, it is time to start planning!

Let’s take a look at the details of the announcement and when you can start buying tickets.

Epic Universe

The portals to Universal Epic Universe will officially open on May 22, 2025!

This groundbreaking park will feature 5 worlds that promise to “bring to life extraordinary adventures that go beyond guests’ wildest imaginations.”

The opening of Epic Universe will greatly increase Universal’s footprint in Orlando, Florida. Soon, guests will have access to 4 theme parks and 11 unique hotels in the Universal eco-system, including the stunning Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel.

This is such a pivotal moment for our destination, and we’re thrilled to welcome guests to Epic Universe next year. With the addition of this spectacular new theme park, our guests will embark on an unforgettable vacation experience with a week’s worth of thrills that will be nothing short of epic! Our Universe will never be the same.

Inside Epic Universe, guests will be able to explore and interact with more than 50 experiences across 5 themed worlds, including:

Whether you want to see flying dragons or take part in a real Mario Kart race, you will be able to do that and more starting in May 2025.

Ticket and Vacation Packages

On October 22, 2024, the first phase of tickets went on sale, featuring multi-day tickets and vacation packages that include 3-5 days of admission to Universal’s theme parks.

3-day tickets start at $354, plus tax. Those passes give you two days of access to Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios and one separate admission to Epic Universe.

Reservations for Universal Helios Grand Hotel also opened on October 22, 2024, for reservations starting May 22, 2025.

As of October 24, 2024, Annual Passholders are now able to purchase single-day tickets to Epic Universe before they go on sale to the general public. Prices range from $122 to $173 for available dates in 2025, with opening day costing $156 plus tax.

Hot Tip:

Guests can save up to $200 by bundling multi-day tickets and 2-night or longer stays at Universal hotels.
