Epic Universe in Orlando, Florida, is getting its first after-hours event this fall, and tickets just went on sale.

With limited capacity, access to all 5 worlds, and exclusive perks and snacks, this could be a great way to experience the new theme park without the crowds. But with ticket prices for the 3-hour event exceeding those of some full-day tickets, is it worth a visit?

Let’s take a look at the details.

Universal Nights at Epic Universe Details

Universal Epic Universe has been open for just over a year now, and it’s finally getting its first after-hours event for 2 nights only this fall.

Tickets for the limited-capacity Universal Nights at Epic Universe just went on sale for October 3 and 17, 2026, starting at $179 per person, plus tax.

Tickets are valid for early park access starting at 7 p.m., so guests can experience the new nighttime show, Universal Celestial Goodnight, with exclusive access to all 5 worlds during the event from 9 p.m. until midnight.

All attractions and experiences, including character meet-and-greets, will be available throughout Universal Nights.

Throughout the event, guests can enjoy unlimited berry-flavored Celestial Popcorn and crispy Kimchi Bao at Celestial Park, as well as free drink refills at Coca-Cola Freestyle locations.

Hot Tip:

Annual passholders can save 10% on Universal Nights, Premier Passholders can save 15%, and Preferred Passholders can save 10% on food and beverage at the event.

Is It Worth It?

Personally, Epic Universe is one of my favorite theme parks in the world, but one of its biggest criticisms is how long the lines can be — along with the heat due to the lack of shade. This nighttime event solves both of those issues.

But with pricing for Universal Nights starting at $179 for 3 hours of somewhat exclusive access to the park, is it worth it? A full-day ticket ranges from $139 to $199, plus tax, so you will definitely get more time inside the gates with a standard ticket, but you will be battling crowds or shelling out (Nintendo pun intended) more money for an Express Pass to skip the lines.

If the price doesn’t bother you, this could be a great way to experience Epic Universe (which is stunning when it’s lit up at night) without the crowds while also getting some snacks and drinks included.

Final Thoughts

Epic Universe is getting its first after-hours event, Universal Nights.

For 2 nights only this fall, you can experience this new theme park without the massive crowds and midday Florida heat. With snacks, drinks, all attractions, and character meet-and-greets available, Universal Nights could easily be worth the entrance fee.
