If you’re looking for a lounge to pass the time in the Vilnius, Lithuania, airport, you have just 1 option: the Narbutas Business Lounge.

This small space on the airport’s upper floor has modest offerings for amenities, food, and drinks. Is it worth going here before your flight?

Here’s what you should know — and you’ll see that I think the answer is yes.

Location of the Narbutas Business Lounge

The Narbutas Business Lounge is tucked behind the main duty-free store at Vilnius Airport (VNO). The directions in the Priority Pass app aren’t very clear, but there’s a sign pointing toward the lounge when you pass through the duty-free shop toward the higher gate numbers — not through the glass walkway toward the lower gate numbers.

Following this sign leads to a set of elevators. Exiting the elevator on the upper floor, signs make it easy to find the lounge’s entrance.

Entering the lounge, a friendly employee is seated at a desk in front of a green wall. Guests check in by presenting a boarding pass and their Priority Pass membership card, or by using an alternative form of access.

How To Access the Narbutas Business Lounge

As mentioned, the lounge participates in the Priority Pass network, allowing anyone with a membership to access the lounge during its operating hours, which are 4 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily.

Additionally, this serves as the predeparture lounge for all business class passengers flying out of VNO. If you’re flying in business class, ask your airline if lounge access is included with your ticket. If so, you can visit the Narbutas Business Lounge without needing a membership and without paying for access.

It’s also possible to purchase a single-entry visit to the lounge, which allows you to stay for a maximum of 3 hours. You’d pay €35 ($40) for a visit lasting up to 3 hours, and payment can be made at the entrance or prepaid online.

The lounge doesn’t accept passengers more than 6 hours before their departing flight, and you must have a same-day boarding pass to enter.

This is currently the only Priority Pass-affiliated lounge in Vilnius, Lithuania’s capital.

Since Priority Pass is the best way to get into the lounge, holding a credit card that offers a Priority Pass membership can be a valuable addition to your wallet.

4 Things To Know About the Narbutas Business Lounge

Before you visit the lounge, here are a few things you should know about it.

1. It’s Small

This isn’t a broom closet, but it’s definitely not large. The lounge accommodates approximately 50 people, featuring seating along the walls and in the center of the space.

The seating also wraps around the food and beverage options, and you’ll find both a TV and a departures board near the seating area.

2. Seating Was Comfortable

The seating throughout the lounge was more comfortable than it initially appeared. That’s worth highlighting, especially in a world where some of the smaller Priority Pass lounges offer utilitarian seating that you don’t want to sit in very long.

3. Amenities Were Few

With a small lounge, there’s not a lot of space. That means you can’t fit in all the amenities a massive lounge can offer. You won’t find showers, a spa, an outdoor terrace, or a bar.

However, there was a small children’s area behind the check-in desk.

Between the main seating area and the kids area, there’s a computer for guests to use.

Past the kids area, there were restrooms. An interesting amenity in the bathrooms was this cup of dental floss picks. There’s no indication they’re sanitized, and the cup wasn’t covered.

I’m not certain these were sterile.

The lounge also had these egg-shaped recycling bins in several locations.

4. Food and Beverages Were Confusing

In the center of the lounge, the Narbutas Business Lounge had complimentary food, snacks, and drinks for visitors. Items were arranged on both sides of a small aisle. Dishes, silverware, cups, and napkins were readily available.

Along with crackers, chips, and cheese puffs, there were croissants in a warming station and desserts in a cooler. There were also hot pies, though they were mixed together in a way that made it impossible to know which pies were which flavors.

The most filing foods were in a large cooler past the end of the buffet. These were all prepackaged items, including salads, fruit cups, and sandwiches. There were numerous signs around the lounge and on this cooler stating that these items were intended for consumption in the lounge, not as a grab-and-go offering.

For drinks, the buffet offered several types of juice, infused water, a coffee machine, bottled sodas, wines, and liquors. The dessert case also featured nondairy options for those who wanted something to add to their coffee.

Final Thoughts

There’s just 1 airport lounge in Vilnius, the Narbutas Business Lounge. It offered modest food and drinks, as well as comfortable seating, but it was on the small side and lacked a variety of amenities.

That said, it’s a decent place to pass the time before your flight — and do so with complimentary snacks while escaping the overhead announcements in the concourse below.
