Have you ever been so convinced something would be awful based on online reviews, but you checked it out anyway and had no complaints? That about sums up my experience at the YOTELAIR Paris Charles de Gaulle lounge, the only Priority Pass lounge in Terminal 2E of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. I happened to be flying out of this terminal, so it was remarkably convenient for me and delivered lounge essentials like snacks and a place to sit.

Yes, it’s a bit bizarre to locate, and yes, it’s crowded like nearly every other lounge these days, but was it worth seeking out? I’ll give you my thoughts after a stop at the lounge.

Location of the YOTELAIR Paris Charles de Gaulle Lounge

YOTELAIR Paris Charles de Gaulle is an in-terminal hotel for short hourly stays, and its lobby, known as the Revolve lounge, functions as a Priority Pass lounge. It’s located airside at Terminal 2E above Gate L. My November 2025 flight was at Gate K, so I found myself exiting security to reach the lounge.

Once I exited security and took an elevator up 1 level, I followed the signs down a long corridor to the airport hotel.

After my visit, I had to reclear security to walk back into the Gate K area. However, YOTELAIR advises that passengers trying to reach Gate L from gates K or M can also take the LISA Shuttle between 5 a.m. and 11:30 p.m.

How To Access the Lounge

To access the lounge, passengers must:

  • Have a boarding pass for an international flight outside of the EU (Schengen area) or to the U.K. departing from Terminal 2E gates K, L, or M.
  • Be connecting to or from an international flight outside of the EU in the same terminal (so long as they stay in the transit area, do not clear customs, and do not have any luggage to claim and recheck).

The lounge is open 24 hours a day; however, access to the terminal is closed from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.

I entered the lounge just before 8 a.m. using the Priority Pass membership I enrolled in with my Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card. This is one of several premium credit cards that offer Priority Pass membership as a cardholder benefit.

Hot Tip:

The lounge is also open to Lounge Pass and LoungeKey members. No day rate is available for the lounge alone.

Seating

Even at an early hour, the lounge was packed, with numerous guests and cramped seating in close quarters. Most chairs were grouped around small, low tables.

A walking path from the buffet to the hotel area divided the seating areas. The other side of the room had a long workstation-style table and high-top tables.

I was fortunate to find an empty seat along the wall near some reading materials, but given the lounge’s high level of activity, it didn’t feel like a space I needed to stay in for an extended period. I left for the terminal soon after having a drink, and later on, I’ll talk through some of your Gate K options for an extended wait.

Food and Beverages

My motivation for visiting a lounge like this is primarily to enjoy a quick drink, a snack, and a relaxed place to sit and work. YOTELAIR Paris Charles de Gaulle mostly delivered on this.

Self-service coffee and tea were available.

A wide cooler had Coca-Cola products, applesauce, donuts, muffins, and prepackaged snacks (granola bars, popcorn, and candy bars). The Priority Pass website indicates that alcohol is available, though I did not see any during my morning visit. Beer (1664) and wines (white, Chardonnay, red, and Merlot) were listed on the menu.

A sign indicated that snacks and drinks were unlimited for lounge guests for in-lounge consumption. A price list was displayed for hotel guests.

The reminder for in-lounge consumption is likely needed because the sheer variety of packaged snacks rivaled many airport convenience stores.

Had I been traveling with my kids, they would have easily cleaned out the Oreos and left the cans of green olives.

For my morning visit, there were also several fresh pastry options of pain au chocolat and pain aux raisins.

Bottom Line:

If you’re hoping for fresh fruit, a hot dish, or a protein source, you’re better off trying to grab a bite in the terminal near your gate. This lounge operates as more of a grab-and-go concept, only they don’t want you to actually grab and go.

Amenities

Other than free Wi-Fi (which the terminal also offers), the amenities were slim.

The restroom was large enough for changing into a fresh set of clothes if you are transiting. The Priority Pass website indicates that showers are available, but I did not see any available on my visit.

Other Options in CDG Terminal 2E Gate K

After a quick drink and with an 11-hour flight looming ahead of me, I decided to walk around the terminal in an effort to get my steps in. For everything negative I had previously read about CDG, I found 2E really a lovely place to walk around. I was traveling solo on this trip, but I am always mindful of family amenities, and I could tell the airport developers were, as well. There was a variety of free entertainment throughout the concourse.

I noticed kids and adults trying out the many PlayStation 5 consoles.

A small, interactive area was designated for young passengers.

There was even an open theater-style area showing a kid-friendly movie.

The east end of Gate K is anchored by Inès Le chat, a giant slumbering cat sculpture surrounded by slumbering passengers on lounge chairs.

Toward the middle of the concourse was a tiered area that would have been ideal for planespotting or working on a laptop.

Bottom Line:

It would be a misstep to spend more time at YOTELAIR than necessary, as Gate K has a lot to offer families and those seeking a pleasant place to sit or work.

Final Thoughts

Priority Pass lounges are a mixed bag, but ultimately, they offer complimentary refreshments and a quiet space to relax away from the busy terminal.

YOTELAIR Paris Charles de Gaulle wasn’t flush with amenities, but it was worth the stop for me. I had time to navigate to it and reclear security, and ultimately, all I was after was a Coke Zero or 2. I saved a couple of euros by not having to buy a drink in the terminal, but if I were in a time crunch or needed a more relaxed environment to work in, I’d consider anchoring in one of the many nice areas in Gate K.

As more lounges adopt the grab-and-go concept, I’d love to see YOTELAIR Paris Charles de Gaulle revise its in-lounge consumption policy to allow guests to stop by to grab a drink and snack for takeaway.
