The Beach House on Hilton Head Island is the only full boutique resort experience in the area. It offers amazing ocean views and private patios for a more immersive luxurious experience. On-site dining and live entertainment can be found at the Porch Restaurant and the Tiki Bar.

This boutique option can be found right next to the upscale Coligny Plaza Shopping Center and allows guests easy access to many other entertainment opportunities on the island.

Room amenities include a 43-inch flat-screen TV, designer beauty products from Gilchrist & Soames, a minifridge, a Keurig coffee maker, and a separate workspace with multiple charging options.

There are 2 types of rooms: the VIP ones overlooking the entertainment at the Tiki Bar and the R&R ones that offer a much more peaceful experience away from any noise that isn’t made by the ocean.

The Inn & Club at Harbour Town has become one of the leading boutique experiences on Hilton Head Island. This luxurious option is full of elegant décoor details and offers truly impressive service.

The on-site pool keeps guests entertained, especially with poolside lounging on offer. The beverage and food service poolside is enhanced by the fantastic views over Harbour Town Golf Links.

Each room has elegant furnishings, modern comforts, premium Egyptian cotton linens, and other amazing amenities. Rooms include Frette linens, a custom-made mattress, hypoallergenic pillows, a glass-door minibar, and a Nespresso machine with complimentary pods (though gourmet coffee is served every morning in the lobby, as well!).

Ocean View is a boutique experience that is part of a 28-acre beachfront resort complex, the Island Club. The Ocean View rooms offer amazing views over the lagoon and the pool. It also offers exclusive beach access.

The many amazing amenities the Island Club offers benefit all Ocean View guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, as are outdoor grills and hammocks. There are 7 tennis courts, 3 pickleball courts, a basketball court, a fitness room, a lap pool, a hot tub with a tanning shelf, a kiddie pool, and a fishing rod for participating in a few sessions of catch and release in the lagoon. Surf fishing is available but requires a special permit.

There are 3 types of Ocean View rooms — 1-bedroom, 1-bedroom with loft, and 2-bedroom — and each has a full kitchen.

Royal Dunes Resort

The Royal Dunes Resort offers a different take on the boutique experience by providing guests with full private villas. The villas have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with full oceanfront views.

There are 2 master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a guest room with 2 twin beds. There is an additional sleeper sofa in the living room, and the guest bathroom is in the hall. Each villa has a fully-equipped kitchen and a private balcony to better enjoy the views.

Guests of the Royal Dunes Resort villas have access to the resort amenities, including 2 pools, a picnic area with grilling tools, a playground, and shuffleboard.

There is also a sauna, a beach shuttle service, a hot tub, and special bicycle parking. A children’s pool is available. In-season, there are weekly activities organized by the resort.
