The author stayed as a guest of the Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel Hotel. All opinions are the author’s own, and the Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel Hotel had no input in any part of this review.

November in Paris is a dream. The weather is brisk, the tourist crowds are beginning to calm, and holiday decorations are just starting to sparkle. I was excited to explore the city from a central base that provided easy access to top attractions: the Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel Hotel.

Discover more about this high-end Marriott property in the 16th arrondissement, beginning with the options for booking with cash or points. I’ll also reveal details about the family suite, as well as a tour of breakfast and some of the hotel’s public spaces.

Booking Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel Hotel

Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel Hotel is 1 of 45 Marriott hotels in the greater Paris area, so it is likely to come up in your search if you’re looking for a midrange-priced stay north of the Seine to earn or burn Marriott Bonvoy points at (or redeem a free night award).

For the dates of our stay, the cheapest available rooms (a classic room with a double bed or a deluxe room with a queen) were $500 per night, inclusive of taxes and fees, or 67,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night, on average. This represents a value of 0.7 cents per point, which aligns with our valuation of Marriott Bonvoy points.

I was hosted with a friend in a family suite with a king bed and a sofa bed, which was $933 per night, inclusive of taxes and fees. The suite does not appear to be bookable using points.

Location

The hotel boasts an upscale location in the 16th arrondissement, situated between Place Victor Hugo and Place du Trocadéro. The hotel is easily accessible from Paris Métro stations at both locations. We frequently used the Victor Hugo station, served by line 2, and a Franprix grocery store was conveniently located on the walk back to the hotel.

The iconic Palais de Chaillot, with its impressive vantage point of the Eiffel Tower and Jardins du Trocadéro, is just a 10-minute walk away. The Eiffel Tower itself is a 23-minute, easily navigable walk. The Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées are an 18-minute walk away.

If you’re arriving from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), an Uber costs around $43, but you could also take the Métro.

Family Suite

The family suite can accommodate 4 people — 2 in the king bed and 2 on the sofa bed — and it delivered on space, at 377 square feet. By comparison, the classic and deluxe rooms are around 200 square feet.

The canopy behind the king bed, inspired by a 17th-century painting, was a dominant design element, and the backlighting on the headboard really made this space stand out. I enjoyed the heft of the bedding, but the mattress itself was a bit worn in on one side.

If you plan to stay with smaller children, the TV tripod stand might be considered a hazard, as I know it would have made me a little nervous with kids running around or exploring.

Across from the bed was the sofa bed, accompanied by 2 coffee tables, a side chair, and a desk with a swivel chair. One of the nightstands had an alarm clock with USB-A and USB-C inputs, and Type C and Type G outlets were found throughout the room.

The closet was closest to the bed and had robes, an ironing board with an iron, and a luggage rack. A closet next to this had a hair dryer, coffee and tea service with an electric kettle, a safe, and slippers. A minifridge was also in this storage area.

The green foliage of the neighborhood was a dominating theme, from the pattern in the carpet to the bed canopy to the flower box outside our window.

Bathroom

The European-style shower, featuring a half-glass shower door, did a decent job of preventing water from flooding the floor. The unique mirror had a regal illuminated design, and a wide sink dominated the vanity countertop. The Eau de Magnolia bath amenities by Frédéric Malle were incredibly fragrant.

Breakfast

Breakfast was served in an interior part of the Maison Revka restaurant. This space had a very cool vibe, with a map of Paris on the ceiling, delicate pink fabrics, and decorative plates hung on the wall.

Breakfast for 2 can be included in the room rate when booking for approximately 30€ ($35). If you were to order the Renaissance Breakfast (included in the room rate), the fee is 24€ ($28), and the cost for the Prestige Breakfast is 32€ ($37). The difference between them is that the Prestige Breakfast includes eggs cooked to order and a choice of 2 sides. An à la carte menu is also available.

The spread for the Renaissance Breakfast included traditional pastries, cereal, fresh fruit and salad options, yogurt, charcuterie, and various cheeses. Self-serve coffee and tea, fresh juices, detox water, and whole fruits were also available. Hot items included fruit crumble, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes. The breakfast was near-identical on both days.

Hot Tip:

If you prefer to grab breakfast out, we saw long lines at Carette – Place Trocadéro, where an Instagrammable hot chocolate with a mound of chantilly cream seemed to be the most popular item.

Comfortable Public Spaces

Maison Revka Garden is open in the summer (typically from late April to early October, depending on the weather). It offers a Slavic-leaning menu for lunch and dinner service.

The courtyard evokes the 1850s, when Alfred Nobel constructed a laboratory and an orchid greenhouse within the garden space. This was mentioned to us at check-in, but we really had no idea just how lovely this garden was until we explored it.

It is surrounded by 4 original historical buildings that were part of the original construction over 100 years ago. While our room faced the street, the majority (70%) of rooms overlook the garden.

Le Salon is the lobby bar open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. This is one of the first spaces you see upon entering the hotel, and I fell in love with its warm, chic design of rustic wood, brass-accented furniture and lamps, and lush velvet fabrics in shades of blue, green, and yellow.

Hot Tip:

The fitness center was closed for remodeling during my visit, but is expected to reopen in mid-December 2025.

Final Thoughts

The Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel Hotel boasts an ideal location, placing the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe within easy reach. Of the Marriott hotels north of the Seine, it is at the lower end of the cash and points rate ranges.

While the family suite is spacious for 4, it’s priced nearly double what the standard room costs, and parents traveling with kids may prefer to divide and conquer across 2 rooms instead.
