1 Hotels, a company with a modest but growing global footprint, will open its first Japanese hotel, 1 Hotel Tokyo, in 2025.

1 Hotel Tokyo Set To Open in 2025

Currently, 1 Hotels operates 12 properties in the U.S., 4 in Europe, and only 2 in the Asia-Pacific region, located in China and Australia.

With the debut of 1 Hotel Tokyo next year, the luxury hotel brand known for its environmental focus will make its first appearance in Japan. Although 1 Hotels hasn’t shared a specific opening date yet, it expects to open its new Tokyo location in 2025.

The 1 Hotel Tokyo will have 211 rooms and suites and will blend traditional Japanese design with modern luxury across its public areas and rooms. The hotel will be located in the Akasaka district, as part of the exciting Tokyo World Gate Akasaka project. The design of this development integrates pedestrians, retail shops, office spaces, and a hotel experience into a single vibrant area.

The 38th-floor lobby will showcase a signature restaurant complete with an open kitchen, several private dining areas, and breathtaking views of the Imperial Palace. The bar will offer 360-degree seating and stunning views of Tokyo’s skyline. The hotel will also feature wellness amenities for guests to enjoy, such as a zen-inspired spa, hammams, a fitness center with beautiful views, an indoor pool with large windows, and an outdoor terrace perfect for relaxing in the greenery.

In line with the brand’s reputation, the hotel will emphasize sustainability initiatives such as advanced recycling systems, reduced energy and water consumption, and the use of reclaimed materials for furniture and equipment.
