Air France is the latest airline to announce changes to its 2024 schedule as 2023 comes to a close.

The French flag carrier has confirmed its return to Minneapolis as of May 13, 2024.

Additionally, the airline’s recently-inaugurated nonstop service to Raleigh-Durham (RDU) will see an increase to year-round service, up from its current seasonal status.

Here are the details of Air France’s U.S. schedule updates for 2024.

Air France Returns to Minneapolis Next Summer

Air France’s decade-long relationship with Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport (MSP) came to an abrupt end at the start of 2023 when the airline canceled its seasonal service from the Midwest airport to the French capital.

The cancellation of the service meant that the 2 cities were without a nonstop connection until its partner Delta inaugurated daily service on August 23, 2023. When Air France reenters the market in May, the city will see 2 daily nonstop flights throughout the summer flying season.

Air France’s flight will operate according to the following schedule:

  • Depart Minneapolis (MSP) 7:40 p.m. — Arrive Paris (CDG) 10:55 a.m. (+1)
  • Depart Paris (CDG) 3:40 p.m. — Arrive Minneapolis (MSP) 5:30 p.m.

The flight will be operated by the airline’s fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The 3-cabin jets are comprised of 30 seats in business class, 21 seats in premium economy, and 225 seats in economy.

Raleigh-Durham Will See Year-Round Air France Flights

Raleigh-Durham (RDU) has quickly become one of the nation’s hottest aviation markets, with airlines consistently adding new service. Air France inaugurated flights from RDU to Paris (CDG) on October 30, 2023, and evidently, the flight has been a smashing success. So much so that the airline will extend the service to operate year-round, and will increase frequencies from 3 per week to daily.

This route is operated by Air France’s Airbus A350 aircraft.

Hot Tip:

Air France and partner airline KLM both use the Flying Blue loyalty program, which is a great way to find flights across the Pond. Learn about all the best ways to earn and then redeem Flying Blue miles for maximum value.

Final Thoughts

It’s great to see Air France reinforcing its route network to the U.S. The return of service to Minneapolis and increased frequency to Raleigh-Durham mean greater connectivity and travel opportunities for those wishing to visit France and beyond.
