Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines are offering a limited-time deal on flights to Hawaii from the West Coast.

Until 11:59 p.m. PT on July 16, you can book flights for 2 to the Pacific Island state and pay just the taxes and fees on the second ticket. That’s the equivalent of getting almost 50% off flights for 2 to Hawaii!

Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian are incentivising travel to Hawaii with a very limited-time offer. When you buy 1 ticket on an eligible flight, you’ll pay just the taxes and fees for the second ticket.

As with most deals of this kind, certain requirements must be met to be eligible for the second discounted ticket.

The deal is specific to certain Alaska and Hawaiian flights departing from San Diego (SAN), Seattle (SEA), and Portland (PDX) only. The discount code HIBOGO is only valid when booking through Alaska Airlines’ website or app.

The routes included are:

San Diego to and from Honolulu (HNL) and Kahului (OGG)
Seattle to and from Honolulu, Kahului, Kona (KOA), and Lihue (LIH)
Portland to and from Honolulu and Kahului

Hot Tip:

Booking these flights with an Alaska Airlines co-branded credit card or another travel rewards credit card will earn you bonus points and miles to use toward your next trip.

Travel dates for the deal are between August 10 and November 19, 2025. Curiously, Alaska and Hawaiian have even stipulated that the offer is only valid only flights departing between 5 p.m. and 2 a.m. PT/HT.

The deal only applies to bookings for 2 people. If you want to travel with your family or a group of friends, you’ll have to make multiple, separate bookings.

The discount applies to both Saver and Main economy fares. First-class fares are not included in the deal.

Here’s an example of a round-trip for 2 people from Portland to Kahului for a total of $510 in economy:
