Alaska Airlines will soon start daily nonstop service between its San Diego (SAN) focus city and Eugene, Oregon (EUG), Tampa (TPA), and Washington, D.C. (IAD).

Alaska Airlines To Offer 35 Nonstop Routes From San Diego

These 3 new routes from San Diego bring Alaska’s total from the airport to 35, which means it’ll offer the most nonstop routes of any airline serving the Southern California city.

San Diego to Washington, D.C.

On June 15, 2023, Alaska will inaugurate service once-daily service to Dulles International Airport on a Boeing 737. This new route clocks in at just over 5 hours of flight time and it will compete against United on the route, which offers 3 flights per day.

San Diego will soon join Los Angeles (LAX), Seattle (SEA), and San Francisco (SFO) as the fourth nonstop destination Alaska serves from Dulles.

San Diego to Eugene

Also on June 15, 2023, Alaska will launch a daily nonstop flight between San Diego and Eugene Airport (EUG) on an Embraer 175.

San Diego to Tampa

Finally, Alaska will introduce once-daily service between San Diego and Tampa International Airport (TPA) on a Boeing 737-9, beginning October 5, 2023.
