Marriott’s first hotel on Mexico’s Isla Mujeres will open later this year. Almare, A Luxury Collection Adult All-Inclusive Resort, Isla Mujeres, is now open for bookings starting in November.

This new hotel offers Marriott customers a new all-inclusive option in Mexico. Located just off the coast of Cancun, this resort will be easily accessible from the U.S. and will be open just in time for the winter travel season.

Let’s jump into the details of this new Marriott resort.

Almare, A Luxury Collection Resort Opens November 15

Almare, A Luxury Collection Adult All-Inclusive Resort, Isla Mujeres resort will be the first Marriott hotel on the island of Isla Mujeres and the first Luxury Collection hotel in Mexico. Bookings for this new luxury resort are open for stays beginning on November 15, 2024.

“We are proud to introduce the Luxury Collection brand to Isla Mujeres, offering guests a truly extraordinary experience that celebrates the beauty and culture of this incredible destination.”

Enrique Solari, general manager for Almare Resort

Each of the resort’s 109 suites, decorated in soothing neutral colors with natural wood accents, will feature expansive balconies and marble bathrooms with separate oversized bathtubs.

Seven restaurants and bars (plus room service) will serve both traditional Mexican cuisine as well as International favorites.

Bottom Line:

Almare Resort is a new adults-only, all-inclusive resort scheduled to open later this year on the island of Isla Mujeres, off the coast of Cancun, Mexico. This hotel, part of Marriott’s A Luxury Collection, is now open for bookings beginning on November 15, 2024.

How To Book Almare Resort

Almare Resort is now open for bookings, and rooms start at around $900 per night for stays this winter.

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to find any availability using Marriott Bonvoy points. This could be because the resort is so new, or it could just be one of those properties with hard-to-find award nights. If you are interested in booking this resort using points, it’s smart to check back often to see if award availability opens up.

You can also use a tool like rooms.aero to search for and set up alerts for award availability.

Final Thoughts

Marriott announced that Almare Resort is now accepting bookings. This new, adults-only, all-inclusive resort will open later in 2024 on the island of Isla Mujeres, off the coast of Cancun, Mexico. This beautiful resort looks like it will offer a sophisticated, luxury experience with 109 spacious suites and a beachfront location.

Currently, bookings using Marriott points aren’t available, but that can always change, so keep this one on your radar for a luxurious winter getaway.
