American Airlines To Offer Free Wi-Fi to AAdvantage Members Starting in 2026

American Airlines has announced that starting in January 2026, AAdvantage members will have access to complimentary Wi-Fi on more than 2 million flights per year.

To make free internet a reality, AA has partnered with AT&T to “connect more planes than any other domestic carrier.”

The free Wi-Fi will be available to AAdvantage members on aircraft equipped with Viasat and Intelsat high-speed satellite connectivity, which makes up about 90% of American’s fleet.
