Like all Amex Offers, you must add the offer to your card first before making a transaction. The good news is that the minimum spend can be met in 1 or more transactions to trigger the $50 statement credit, so long as you make the purchase before the expiration date.

Additionally, this offer specifically states that it is only valid on the National website, at a National location, in the mobile app, or by calling 844-382-6875. Booking through third-party websites won’t trigger this offer.

Because car rentals may take several days to post on your statement credit, you’ll want to complete your rental well before December 31, 2025. If not, you may risk the transaction not posting in time to get your points.
