Update:The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Every little bit helps when it comes to saving on your wireless bill.

Right now, you may be able to save up to $30 on your next wireless bill by using your eligible American Express card and enrolling in Amex Offers. This is a free offer to take advantage of, though only targeted cardholders can add the offer to their cards.

Let’s take a look at the details.

Amex Offers

Amex Offers can be found when logging into the American Express website and in the mobile app. By toggling between each card that you have, you can see any eligible offers you have been targeted for, including this one. You’ll need to add the Amex Offer to your card before you complete the purchase.

The Offer

This Amex Offer provides a 10% back statement credit on purchases at wireless providers, up to a $30 statement credit. You can make 1 or more transactions to trigger the credit, so the purchase doesn’t need to be made at once.

Most wireless providers allow you to pay your bill as a one-time payment or adding your card for recurring payments. In either case, this offer should trigger the credit, though be mindful that there is an expiration date of December 31, 2023, so you’ll want to make sure the transaction posts by then.

This offer is only valid online, so you can’t use it for any in-store or retail purchases. There’s no list of which carriers are eligible under this offer, so most major carriers, such as Verizon or T-Mobile, for example, should work.

Hot Tip:

While you can use the offer to pay your wireless bill, purchasing accessories or phones directly from the carrier may trigger the rebate as well. When in doubt, charge anything to your bill and use your eligible card on that.

Final Thoughts

This Amex Offer allows you to save money on your wireless bill. Check your qualifying Amex cards to see whether you have been targeted for this deal to save $30 on your next wireless service payment.
