If a chilly, gloomy winter has you dreaming of the warm, golden sands of Dubai (or even destinations further afield, like the Maldives or Seychelles), you’re in luck, as there is a new Amex Offer for flights with Emirates.

Let’s review the details of the offer and see if it’s a good deal on your next Emirates flight.

Enroll To Earn a $150 Statement Credit

Amex Offers are targeted promotional offers for Amex cardholders to earn additional points or a statement credit on travel, entertainment, dining, and retail purchases they were likely going to make anyway. These offers vary by card, and cardholders must enroll in each offer prior to their purchase.

For a limited time, eligible Amex cardholders can earn a $150 statement credit when spending a minimum of $1,000 in 1 or more purchases on Emirates flights by April 30, 2025.

The flight must be purchased on the U.S. Emirates website in U.S. dollars and originate in the U.S. Enrollment is required — simply click Add to Card when browsing the offers.

If you purchase additional baggage or pay to select your seats, those fees can be included so long as you purchase them alongside your flight and the charges appear on the same receipt. Purchases by phone, at the airport, at a ticket center, or through a third party are excluded.

Is It Worth It?

We were targeted for this offer on The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express, but you may also see it on cards like The Platinum Card® from American Express. If you were to purchase your Emirates flight with the Amex Platinum card, you would earn 5x Membership Rewards points for flights booked directly with airlines (up to $50,000, then 1x).

Considering that single round-trip flights on Emirates in economy class typically approach $1,000, hitting the minimum spend requirement for this Amex Offer should be easy if you’re traveling with multiple passengers.

Since Emirates’ premium classes typically cost several thousand dollars, this Amex Offer is also an easy way to save on a bucket-list experience.

If your plans don’t involve transiting through Dubai (DXB) to over 130 destinations served by Emirates, you could also consider one of the airline’s fifth-freedom flights from Miami (MIA) to Bogotá (BOG), New York (JFK) to Milan (MXP), or Newark (EWR) to Athens (ATH).

Hot Tip:

Final Thoughts

Amex cardholders targeted for this offer can save a maximum of 15% on their next Emirates booking. Check your Amex Offers to see if you’re eligible and be sure to enroll and make your purchase by April 30.
