Walmart and Burger King are out with a Whopper of a new partnership (pun intended). Walmart+ members can get discounts on Burger King orders every day and a free Whopper every 3 months.

Walmart+ Now Offering Burger King Benefits

Walmart and Burger King are offering an exclusive benefit to Walmart+ members. Walmart+ members can get 25% off their first digital order daily with Burger King at participating U.S. locations.

Plus, starting in September 2024, Walmart+ members can claim a free Whopper once per quarter (every 3 months) when making a purchase of any amount in the BK app or at bk.com. This perk is available just once in 2024 but will be available up to 4 times per year going forward. Note that unused orders don’t carry over to the next quarter.

Why Burger King? Walmart+ executives believe its a benefit members were looking for.

“The inclusion of a Burger King benefit in our Walmart+ membership portfolio is exciting,” said Venessa Yates, senior vice president and general manager of Walmart+. “We consistently strive to offer benefits that focus on our members, aligning with our commitment to deliver undeniable value and convenience.”

To claim these benefits, you’ll need to link your Walmart+ and BK Royal Perks accounts. From here, visit the Offers tab in the Burger King app (iOS, Android) or your bk.com account. Add the offer to your account before placing a qualifying order.

How To Get Walmart+ With the Amex Platinum Card

If you’ve got the Amex Platinum card, you can enroll for a complimentary Walmart+ membership and receive a statement credit to cover the monthly membership fee of $12.95 plus tax. Ensure you enroll for this benefit first and then use your Amex Platinum card as your membership payment method to receive the credit.

Among other benefits, you’ll now get the Burger King perks available for Walmart+ members — and you can do so without any cost for the Walmart+ membership each month.
