Point.me, a popular award search website, and American Express have formed a new partnership that will make it easier for Amex cardholders to book award flights.

As of March 11, cardholders can search for award flights through Point.me’s platform for free, making flight searches and redemptions simpler to do.

Let’s take a look at the details of this new partnership.

Point.Me and American Express Partnership Details

Eligible American Express card holders can conveniently explore award flight options and view redemption rates using Amex Membership Rewards points through the new partnership with Point.me.

“We’re ecstatic to be connecting with American Express Card Members through ‘point.me for Membership Rewards® points’,” said Adam Morvitz, CEO of point.me. “This partnership provides American Express Card Members with an easy way to search and compare the incredible airline loyalty transfer options offered through their Membership Rewards® Program.”

For those unfamiliar with Point.me, the tool serves as an award search aggregator that simplifies the process of finding award flights, catering to both novice travelers and experienced individuals.

Point.me typically charges $129 for an annual membership and provides access to award availability on over 100 airlines. With the launch of this new partnership, Amex cardholders can easily search for award seats using point.me and view award rates before transferring points to any of the 18 Amex Membership Rewards airline transfer partners, at no cost.

Bottom Line:

Point.me, an award search tool, has teamed up with Amex to provide cardholders with a helpful tool for maximizing flight award bookings using Amex Membership Rewards points.

How To Use Point.Me

To begin searching for award seats with your American Express Membership Rewards points on point.me, eligible Amex cardholders must log in to the new Point.me for Membership Rewards points landing page at amex.point.me.

Once you’re there, simply click on “Log in” and enter the username and password you use for your American Express online account. Before accessing the Point.me for Membership Rewards Points landing page, you need to agree to the terms of service and privacy policy if your account is eligible.

Then once logged in, you can begin conducting award searches by plugging in your city pairs and dates. Point.me also provides cardholders with step-by-step instructions on transferring points to an eligible partner airline and booking an award with their chosen program.

Final Thoughts

Through a new partnership between Amex Membership Rewards and point.me, eligible cardholders can use point.me to check award availability.

This partnership is also a great benefit for Amex cardholders who may not be experienced in redeeming points and want to ensure they’re maximizing the value of their points.
