Southeast Asia is getting its first beachfront Park Hyatt, and this one could prove popular with World of Hyatt loyalists visiting Vietnam.

Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is expected to open in early 2027 and is already accepting reservations for stays beginning in March 2027. Standard rooms can be booked for as few as 25,000 World of Hyatt points per night, while cash rates start at around $600.

That makes this a great opportunity to lock in a stay at a brand-new Park Hyatt resort without spending hundreds of dollars per night.

Let’s take a look.

Book the Park Hyatt Phu Quoc With Points

Park Hyatt Phu Quoc will be the brand’s first beachfront resort in Southeast Asia. The property sits on a little over 1-mile shoreline on the southwest coast of Phu Quoc, Vietnam, known for its pristine beaches, lush landscapes, and vibrant marine life.

According to Hyatt’s current hotel page, the resort will feature 114 rooms and suites, along with 54 villas spread across beachfront, lakeside, and hillside locations. Every villa will have its own private pool, and options will range from 1-bedroom villas to an enormous 8-bedroom seaside residence known as The Manor.

The resort will also offer 2 outdoor pools, several restaurants and bars, a lakefront wellness center, a fitness center, and a Camp Hyatt kids club.

Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is listed as a Category 7 World of Hyatt property. That means a standard room will cost between 25,000 and 55,000 points per night, depending on the time of year you visit. Rooms were available from 25,000 points per night for the dates we checked in March 2027, when the hotel is expected to start welcoming guests.

Comparable cash rates started at roughly $600 per night, giving you a redemption value of about 2.4 cents per point before taxes and fees. Given that we value World of Hyatt points at 1.4 cents apiece, redeeming them for a stay at the Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is an excellent way to get outsized value.

How To Find Award Availability

Award availability for stays at the Park Hyatt Phu Quoc isn’t yet showing on MaxMyPoint or Rooms.aero, so you’ll need to search directly on Hyatt’s website or app. Just sign in with your World of Hyatt account, select “Use Points,” and check dates beginning in March 2027.

Since the hotel is still under development, its opening date and award availability could change. Therefore, you’ll want to check your reservation’s cancellation policy before booking.

Hot Tip:

Need more points? You can earn Hyatt points by staying at a Hyatt hotel, using a Hyatt credit card, or by transferring points from either Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards.
