Look no further if you have been searching for award flights to Taiwan. We found some great options in both economy and business class flying on EVA Air to Taipei.

Dates are limited, but this is one of the best ways to the popular city from the U.S.

Let’s take a look at the details.

Award Alert — Details

The award flights we are seeing are mostly on EVA Air, the highly-rated Taiwanese airline.

Although there are plenty of seats available in economy, if you can snag a business class seat, it will be a much more comfortable way to spend the 13+ hour flight on EVA’s 787 Dreamliner.

To score the best price, you will want to use Air Canada’s Aeroplan program.

  • Class: Business and economy class
  • Routes: Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), and Seattle (SEA) to Taipei (TPE)
  • Dates: February, April, June to October 2025, and January and February 2026
  • Rates: 50,000 to 75,000 Aeroplan points + $57 in taxes and fees

We are seeing up to 9 seats in economy, so this could be a great way to get that trip out of the group chat. Business class seats are limited to 1 or 2 per flight, unfortunately.

To help find the most availability, try searching via seats.aero, which will populate up to a year in advance if you have the pro version:

If you don’t have the pro version, you can still use the search feature to search between specific airports.

Best Ways To Book

The best prices and availability are found via Air Canada’s Aeroplan program.

Air Canada Aeroplan charges 75,000 points for business class, whereas the next closest option, United Airlines MileagePlus, charges 100,000 miles for the same seat. While the taxes and fees are a bit higher with Aeroplan, it is worth it to save 25,000 points each way.

If you don’t have Aeroplan points, don’t worry; they are relatively easy to come by, thanks to a long list of transfer partners.

American Express Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, Capital One Miles, Chase Ultimate Rewards (all at a 1:1 ratio), and Marriott Bonvoy points (at a 3:1 ratio) all transfer to the Canadian loyalty program.

Final Thoughts

We have found a nice batch of award flights to Taipei, Taiwan, in both economy and business class.

If you’ve been searching for flights to Asia, this is a great way to use your points and miles to get there comfortably and affordably.
