Bank of America and Visa are out with an interesting promotion that could help you wine one of 3 available FIFA World Cup 2026 ticket packages for knockout-round matches across the U.S.

If you hold a Bank of America-branded Visa credit card, each of your purchases will count as an entry for a chance to win one of the packages.

Here’s a look at the details and some tips to maximize your chances of winning.

Bank of America and Visa’s World Cup Contest

From March 20 through April 20, 2026, at 11:50 p.m. PT, each purchase you make with your Bank of America-branded Visa credit card (including business cards) will count as an entry to win one of 3 “Hospitality Packages” to the following FIFA World Cup 2026 matches:

  • Grand prize: World Cup final match on July 19, 2026, in East Rutherford, NJ
  • First-place prize: World Cup semi-final match on July 15, 2026, in Atlanta
  • Second-place prize: World Cup quarterfinal match on July 10, 2026, in Los Angeles

Each package includes a number of perks, including round-trip airfare for 2, a 4-night hotel stay, 2 tickets to the match, ground transportation, “a group cultural experience,” FIFA-themed merchandise and gifts, a $600 prepaid Visa card, and a cash award.

All in all, these ticket packages are alluring, as they offer numerous perks beyond just match tickets, and entering the contest is low-stakes. There’s no registration required, and each purchase you make on your eligible card within the month timeframe counts as an entry.

That brings us to our next topic: strategies for maximizing your chances of winning. Because each purchase is an entry, there’s no minimum purchase required, and there’s no limit on the number of entries you can make, there’s no reason not to employ a strategy to better your chances.

For example, if you go to the grocery store and have a full cart, use the self-checkout lane and pay for each item separately. Yes, it’ll take you some more time, and may irritate fellow shoppers if there’s a line, but if you’re dying to go to the World Cup, this kind of strategy could greatly increase your chances of winning one of these packages. You’ll get 50 entries this way, rather than 1 (from paying for everything in a single transaction).

Winners will be chosen in May by a “random drawing conducted by an independent organization” and notified afterward. For full terms, conditions, and rules of the contest, visit this page.

Final Thoughts

Bank of America and Visa are offering a very interesting, low-stakes promo that could land you tickets to some of the biggest World Cup matches this year. If you have an eligible card, remember that each purchase you make between March 20 and April 20 will count as an entry, so try to make as many separate purchases as possible to increase your chances!
