In a world where “bring 2 guests with you at no charge” was the standard, it no longer is.

If you’ve liked bringing guests into Priority Pass lounges in the past, chances are, not every credit card’s membership allows it these days. Some memberships are slashing guest privileges, while others are tacking on fees to retain them.

With all these changes to Priority Pass and the ability to bring guests into the lounge with you, you’ll be forgiven for feeling lost. So, which travel credit card is now the best for Priority Pass guest access? The answer might surprise you.

Recent Changes to Priority Pass Guest Benefits

If you feel like it’s been a busy few months for changes related to credit cards and their Priority Pass lounge memberships, you aren’t wrong.

On January 15, 2026, Chase ended the unlimited guests policy on The Ritz-Carlton™ Credit Card, reducing it to a maximum of 2 guests. Then, on February 1, 2026, Capital One removed guest privileges for Priority Pass on the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card.

Hot Tip:

Over the past few years, we’ve seen an increasing number of card issuers remove the ability to use your Priority Pass membership to dine at Priority Pass restaurants or visit affiliated spas and nap rooms.

Where Priority Pass Guest Policies Stand as of February 2026

Many credit cards offer Priority Pass memberships. Most include unlimited visits for the primary account holder, though that’s not always the case. And all of these card issuers require you to enroll in the Priority Pass benefit before using it.

Here’s an overview of popular rewards cards and the current Priority Pass lounge rules related to guests:

Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card

Until very recently, the Capital One Venture X card was one of the best Priority Pass cards, offering up to 2 guests and up to 4 authorized users at no additional annual fee. Those authorized users could, in turn, get their own Priority Pass membership that included up to 2 guests at no extra charge.

That’s no longer the case. The card doesn’t offer any complimentary guests per visit, meaning cardholders must either pay the per-visit guest fee or add an authorized user for $125 annually to maintain lounge access for others.

As this card moved from “best” to “worst” in these rankings, an unexpected card has moved to the top of the rankings.

For travelers looking to bring guests into Priority Pass lounges while keeping annual fees as low as possible, the Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite card now offers the strongest overall value.

This card doesn’t get as much attention as some others mentioned above, and that may be due to the lack of points transfer partners at Bank of America. However, those looking to bring lots of guests into a Priority Pass lounge should give the Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite card a serious look.

Final Thoughts

If you had told me a year ago that the Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite card would become the best credit card for Priority Pass guest privileges, I would not have taken you seriously. But here we are.

As other card issuers continue to restrict lounge benefits, Bank of America’s premium card continues to offer unlimited guest benefits and the ability to activate up to 4 Priority Pass memberships on your account, meaning you can activate your own membership and gift a lounge membership to 3 other people, all bring guests with you, and you’ll pay just 1 annual fee on your account for all of this.

That’s increasingly rare.

*A maximum benefit amount and certain restrictions and limitations apply. Please review the Bilt Palladium Card Mastercard Guide to Benefits for details.
