You don’t have to go to the Alps or Niseko for the best slopes — the United States and Canada have some of the best ski resorts in the world. And many of those are Marriott resorts, where, if you book directly, you can get the best price at more than 9,000 hotels.

These are some of our favorite Marriott ski resorts in the U.S. and Canada this season.

Top Marriott Ski Resorts in the U.S. and Canada

Booking your ski trip directly on Marriott.com offers you all the perks of the Marriott Bonvoy program, and you also get the best-rate guarantee, where the brand matches any better price you find — and throws in 25% off or 5,000 points.

1. St. Regis Deer Valley (Utah)

Book direct on Marriott.com: St. Regis Deer Valley

The St. Regis Deer Valley is the only true ski-in, ski-out resort in Deer Valley. It’s perched above Park City, and you can sleep, ski, and relax in true luxury here. Guest rooms feature gorgeous mountain views and fireplaces, and you can hop on a private funicular from the hotel directly to the slopes.

The hotel has plenty to offer for family fun. This year, the 2026-2027 ski season in Deer Valley opens in early December, making it a special place to celebrate the holidays or rejuvenate after a chaotic holiday season. Enjoy warming outdoor firepits, a giant walk-in gingerbread house full of candy and treats, s’mores sessions, and occasional visits from the holiday greats, like Santa and Mrs. Claus.

If holiday magic isn’t your vibe, the ski season could run until late March or April, depending on the weather. Indulge in the hotel’s 14,000-square-foot spa, which features an indoor pool, relaxation lounges, après-ski-themed stretching and yoga classes, and treatments such as energizing or stress-relief massages, sound healing therapy, and couples-themed packages.

Winter rates start around $2,000 per night or 142,000 Marriott points (plus a $65 resort fee).

Hot Tip:

Get perks like Marriott Bonvoy elite status, free nights, and more with Marriott co-branded credit cards — there are 6 personal credit cards to choose from.

2. The Westin Resort & Spa (Whistler)

Book direct on Marriott.com: Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler

Set in the Canadian Coast Mountains on the edge of Whistler Village, the Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler, isn’t a ski-in, ski-out hotel, but is just a short walk from the Whistler gondola.

Rooms come with kitchenettes and fireplaces, but if you plan to hang out at the hotel, the indoor pool is warming after a day on the slopes, and the spa offers aromatherapy and alpine-inspired treatments. The lobby is also a welcoming spot to come back to, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a comforting fireplace.

There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, but if you want to eat at the hotel, the Grill & Vine Restaurant has in-table firepits for an especially toasty dining experience. Nearby, the Whistler Olympic Plaza has a family-friendly play area, walking trails, and ice skating.

Winter rates start around $480 or 95,000 Bonvoy points per night.

3. Moxy Banff (Canada)

Book direct on Marriott.com: Moxy Banff

The Moxy Banff is close to 3 different ski resorts: Mount Norquay, Banff Sunshine Village, and Lake Louise Ski Resort, and a SkiBig3 lift ticket gets you access to all of them. When you’re not hitting the slopes, the Moxy is a pretty cool hangout spot.

The hotel bar offers a complimentary cocktail to every guest upon check-in, and there are outdoor hot pools and hot tubs for warming up on a chilly day. Snack at Paul’s Food Truck, a fully revamped 1966 Volkswagen bus that serves light bites and breakfast, or eat and drink outside amid the fire pits and fireplaces.

When it comes to the guest rooms, some have balconies, and they can sleep parties of various sizes, with bunk bed rooms ideal for families or groups of friends.

Winter rates start at an affordable $182 or 44,000 points per night.

4. The Westin Monache Resort, Mammoth (California)

Book direct on Marriott.com: The Westin Monache Resort, Mammoth

Guests staying at The Westin Monache Resort, Mammoth, have direct access to the Mammoth Ski area and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The resort features a 24-hour fitness center, a heated pool and whirlpool, and suites with fireplaces and balconies.

The resort is tucked in the Eastern Sierra region and is only a few miles away from slope access. Near the hotel, you’ll find Minaret Cinema, a tubing park, and Mammoth Rock ’n’ Bowl, all great activities for kids and families.

While there’s currently a single on-site restaurant, there are stellar options nearby, including The Lakefront Restaurant, The Patty Shack, and Vulcania, run by 2 brothers, one a James Beard finalist and the other a Michelin-starred chef, among others.

Winter rates start at around $378 or 99,000 points per night (plus a $25 daily resort fee).

5. Residence Inn by Marriott Vail (Colorado)

Book direct on Marriott.com: Residence Inn by Marriott Vail

If you’re on the hunt for a more affordable ski vacation, the Residence Inn by Marriott Vail offers a convenient and practical stay. Rooms feature full-size kitchens with large refrigerators and workspaces, and some offer mountain views.

Rates usually range between $230 and $450 during ski season and can be as low as 55,000 points per night.

6. W Aspen (Colorado)

Book direct on Marriott.com: W Aspen

The W Aspen is a 2-minute walk to the ski lifts (you can easily access the Aspen Mountain gondola) but also conveniently close to downtown Aspen, with access to restaurants and shopping. The hotel offers a shuttle during the winter months to ski spots like Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands, and Snowmass Village.

In typical W fashion, the hotel has a trendy vibe, with lots of live music and activities to do at the hotel once the day’s ski sessions have wrapped. From King studios to rooms with 4 queen-bed bunk beds, there are accommodations for everyone, from solo skiers and couples to families and larger groups. The main highlight is W Aspen’s rooftop, which features a heated pool, a hot tub, multiple fire pits, and panoramic views of the Colorado Rockies.

Rates during ski season start at $590 or 112,000 points per night.

7. The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Avon, Vail Valley (Colorado)

Book direct on Marriott.com: The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Avon, Vail Valley

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Avon Vail Valley, offers a Riverfront Express Gondola that takes guests around Beaver Creek Mountain. In addition to skiing, the resort features a heated outdoor pool with several infinity hot tubs, ski storage, and access to snowshoes and sleds (with a $45 daily resort fee).

All guest rooms have incredible views of the surrounding Vail Valley, and several suites feature balconies overlooking the town of Avon. If you want to go directly from the slopes to the spa, the Spa Anjali is famous for its massages, facials, and acupuncture, among other services.

Dining includes The Lookout Bar, the Gondola Market + Cafe, a stunning Lobby Bar & Lounge, and Colletta, an Italian restaurant with rotating seasonal dishes. There’s also a 24-hour fitness center offering several amenities and classes, including yoga and Pilates.

Ski season rates start around $495 (or 80,500 points) per night, but can rise to over $800 during peak dates for most basic rooms.

Hot Tip:

If you renew your Ikon Ski Pass, you can get a Marriott Bonvoy Free Night Certificate (worth up to 25,000 points), among other perks.

8. The St. Regis Aspen Resort (Colorado)

Book direct on Marriott.com: The St. Regis Aspen Resort

Set at the base of Aspen Mountain, steps from the restaurants and shops of downtown, the St. Regis Aspen Resort’s brick facade and gabled roof make it feel more like a Gilded Age manor than a ski resort. But it is a ski resort, just a short walk from the lifts, with plenty of winter-inspired activities and fun.

The hotel features a variety of spaces, from the elegant Astor Library to heated outdoor pools, and even an igloo and seasonal après-ski yurts complete with fireplaces and fondue dining. Rooms and suites overlook Aspen Mountain and feature amenities like Frette linens, balconies, and marble bathrooms.

If you need some post-ski recovery, the RAKxa Wellness Spa offers warming winter facial and body treatments, hot and cold pools, a steam room, a grotto, and a relaxation room. Regardless of whether you plan to dine on or off the resort, don’t miss the daily Champagne sabering ritual at the Mountain Social Bar.

Winter rates start at $1,077 or 130,000 points per night.

Final Thoughts

There are plenty of Marriott ski resorts right here in the U.S. and Canada, so there’s no need to go elsewhere if you want to hit the slopes this season. From affordable suites with kitchenettes and breakfast to luxury ski-in, ski-out properties and trendy aprés ski hot spots, these Marriott hotels are the perfect places for your next snow-themed winter getaway.
