If you’ve never linked your Marriott Bonvoy and Uber accounts before, now could be a great time to do so.

Marriott Bonvoy has launched a limited-time offer to earn 750 bonus points if you link the 2 accounts by November 27, 2024.

Let’s take a look at the offer in more detail.

First things first, the offer is available to U.S. Marriott Bonvoy members who have never linked their Marriott and Uber accounts previously. You’ll need the Uber app (iOS, Android) or Uber Eats (iOS, Android) app to link your accounts.

You must link your Marriott Bonvoy account to your Uber app for the first time by November 27, 2024 — the day before Thanksgiving. Unlike previous versions of this promotion, you don’t need to take a qualifying ride to earn the bonus points. Allow 4 to 6 weeks to receive the bonus points in your Marriott account.

To link your accounts, open the Uber app, go to Settings, and then scroll down. Choose Marriott Bonvoy and then click on Link Accounts. On the next screen, provide your Bonvoy membership information to link your accounts.

Benefits of Linking Accounts

Granted, 750 Marriott Bonvoy points isn’t much. However, if you plan to become a frequent Uber rider or are partial to Uber Eats delivery, then you will be rewarded with lots of bonus Marriott Bonvoy points on an ongoing basis:

Uber Eats delivery

  • Earn 6 points per dollar spent on Uber Eats orders that are delivered to a Marriott hotel you’re staying at
  • Earn 3 points per dollar spent on Uber journeys with Uber XL, Uber Black, Uber SUV, and Uber Comfort
  • Earn 2 points per dollar spent on all other Uber Eats orders

Even if you’re not a frequent Uber Eats orderer or Uber rider, getting 750 bonus points could be worth a few clicks by November 27, 2024. We value Marriott Bonvoy points at 0.7 cents apiece, making 750 bonus points worth $5.25.

Hot Tip:

Final Thoughts

Linking your Marriott Bonvoy and Uber accounts is the definition of a win-win situation.

Double up by using a credit card that rewards food delivery services or rideshares. That way, you can earn even more bonus points once you link your accounts.
