We love great deals at Upgraded Points, especially when one comes around for something that usually is a bit tricky to book with points — like cruises.

Virgin Voyages is back with awesome deals on select cruises that you can book with Virgin Red points. And when you couple these offers with the current transfer bonus to Virgin, you can snag a cruise for 2 people — with Wi-Fi and gratuities included — starting at 115,000 points for a 4-night sailing.

Here are all the juicy details.

New Virgin Voyages Cruise Deals

There are 25 new deals available for Caribbean, Atlantic Coast, Mediterranean, and northern European all-inclusive cruises that are bookable using Virgin Red points.

These limited-time deals are available for sailings through the end of 2025, with many different itineraries available. The price is per cabin, regardless of whether you book for 1 or 2 people, in a Sea Terrace or Central Sea Terrace room.

You’ll want to act quickly, as availability is first come, first served. There’s no booking deadline, but rooms may sell out on these sailings:

  • 4-night Caribbean from Miami to San Jose on February 19, 2025: 149,000 points
  • 5-night Riviera Maya on February 9 or 23, or March 9, 2025: 186,250 points
  • 5-night Dominican Republic from Miami on February 14 or 28, or March 14, 2025: 186,250 points
  • 5-night from Lisbon to Portsmouth on July 22, 2025: 200,000 points
  • 6-night Western Caribbean on February 16 or March 2, 2025: 223,500
  • 8-night Eastern Caribbean on February 8 or 22, or March 8, 2025: 298,000 points
  • 10-night round-trip Caribbean sailing from San Juan on March 22, 2025: 325,000 points
  • 10-night sailing from NYC to Quebec on September 23, 2025: 350,000 points
  • 10-night Spain and Morocco cruise on June 12, 2025: 350,000
  • 11-night round-trip from Barcelona to Palma, Rome, and more on June 1, 2025: 357,500
  • 11-night Caribbean cruise from San Juan on April 1: 357,500 points
  • 11-night Mediterranean from Athens on May 18, 2025: 385,000
  • 11-night round-trip from Athens to Istanbul, Santorini & more on June 29 or August 10, 2025: 385,000 points
  • 11-night cruise from Reykjavik to Portsmouth on August 6, 2025: 385,000 points
  • 13-night cruise from Portsmouth to Barcelona on September 12, 2025: 422,500 points
  • 13-night Quebec to Miami on October 3, 2025: 422,500
  • 13-night U.K., Spain, Portugal, and Morocco sailing on September 12, 2025: 422,500
  • 14-night Halloween-themed transatlantic sailing from Miami on October 26, 2025: 455,000

How To Find These Deals

These Virgin Voyages Deals are available through the Virgin Red website. Just click on Spend at the top of the screen.

Is It a Good Deal?

Booking cruises with points can be tricky (especially if you like maximizing their value), so it’s awesome to see these Virgin Voyages cruises offer good redemption value.

Virgin Voyages itineraries, in particular, are more expensive than most since they’re adults-only, feature high-end food, and include numerous activities for free. They also include Wi-Fi and gratuities in the purchase price.

As an example, a 5-night Riviera Maya cruise in the Caribbean can cost you $2,430 for 2 guests. If you were to book this cruise for 186,250 points, it’d net you a value of 1.3 cents per point — which is just a hair shy of the value we place on Virgin Points.

How To Get Virgin Red Points

Virgin Red points are easy to earn since you can link your Virgin Red account directly to your Virgin Atlantic Flying Club account. While these 2 programs are technically different, you can still transfer points seamlessly between them at a 1:1 ratio.

It’s very easy to earn Virgin Atlantic Flying Club points as the program partners with all of the major transferrable currency programs, including 1:1 transfers from American Express Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, Capital One miles, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and Citi ThankYou Rewards. Virgin also receives 3:1 transfers from Marriott Bonvoy, including a 5,000-point bonus for every 60,000 points transferred.

So, if you wanted to take advantage of one of these deals, you could simply transfer points over from one of the aforementioned programs to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and then transfer them again to Virgin Red, where you’ll be able to book the cruise.

Final Thoughts

You can now book select Virgin Voyages cruises for only 149,000 Virgin Red points. The cruises are for 2 people on several different itineraries, including transatlantic options. You’ll need to book soon to take advantage of this deal, as there are a limited number of cabins available.

And if you’re transferring in Chase Ultimate Rewards points, you can snag a cruise from just 115,000 points for 2 people. However, cruises can sell out quickly.
