New Breeze Flights From New Orleans Starting in February

Low-cost Breeze Airways will launch daily nonstop flights from New Orleans (MSY) to Las Vegas (LAS) and Los Angeles (LAX), New Orleans Airport announced today on X. Las Vegas is a new route for Breeze in New Orleans, while Los Angeles is a returning service.

The flights appear to be available from February 4, 2026, onward, according to Breeze’s website, and they will operate daily. Here’s a look at the route details:

  • Depart New Orleans (MSY) at 8:35 p.m. and arrive in Los Angeles (LAX) at 10:59 p.m.
  • Depart Los Angeles (LAX) at 11:59 p.m. and arrive in New Orleans (MSY) at 5:34 a.m.
  • Depart New Orleans (MSY) at 8:59 p.m. and arrive in Las Vegas (LAS) at 10:59 p.m.
  • Depart Las Vegas (LAS) at 11:59 p.m. and arrive in New Orleans (MSY) at 5:34 a.m.

These new routes will be flown on Breeze’s fleet of Airbus A220-300 aircraft, which includes its version of first class, dubbed “Ascent.” This product is arranged in a 2-2 configuration with recliner-style seating, and it includes unlimited snacks and beverages.

It’s been a busy few weeks for Breeze. The Utah-based airline, founded by former JetBlue CEO David Neeleman, recently announced a massive West Coast expansion, adding 5 new routes in California, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, and Washington State.

And earlier this month, the airline announced that it would be adding new flights to Norfolk (ORF), Orlando (MCO)Raleigh-Durham (RDU), and Ogdensburg, New York (OGS), as well as restarting service between Tampa (TPA) and Charleston, West Virginia (CRW).

How To Book

The new routes are now bookable on Breeze’s website. We’re seeing flights starting at $79 one-way, or, if you prefer using points, around 5,700 BreezePoints one-way.

Note that the cheapest tickets are No Flex Fare, which is the most restrictive. Breeze is a true budget airline, and it keeps costs low by passing on charges for baggage and seat selection to the customer.

Hot Tip:

Once you’ve picked your flights, you’ll want to book your tickets on one of the best travel credit cards. If you fly Breeze often, you might want to consider the Breeze Easy™ Visa Signature® Credit Card. This card earns up to 10x points on airline purchases, plus 2x points on eligible grocery store and restaurant purchases, including inflight food and beverages on Breeze.

Final Thoughts

Breeze is expanding in New Orleans with a new route to Las Vegas and restarting service to Los Angeles. While the flights don’t begin until next February, tickets are already available — and they’re pretty affordable with cash or BreezePoints.
