Breeze Airways is a low-cost carrier that offers flexible fares, with or without luggage included, allowing passengers to keep costs low when traveling light.

For passengers that require carry-on and checked luggage, the airline’s fare bundles offer good value for money, combining luggage and premium seat selection at a cheaper rate.

When adding luggage separately, Breeze’s fees are a little higher than some other airlines, starting at $35 for the first bag or $45 for the second, with no discount for prepaying in advance.

Breeze Airways Carry-on Allowance

1 Personal Item: Free

Standard Carry-on Bag: 1 included with the “Nicer” and “Nicest” fare bundles

For “Nice” fares, passengers can purchase a carry-on bag for $35.

Size restrictions:

  • Personal: 17 x 13 x 8 inches (43 x 33 x 20 cm)
  • Standard: 24 x 14 x 10 inches (61 x 35 x 25 cm) and a maximum weight of 35 pounds

Breeze does not disclose any weight restrictions for the personal item.

Lap Infant Carry-on Policy

  • Lap infants are not entitled to any carry-on, so a diaper bag would need to be carried as part of the adult’s allowance.

Stroller Check Policy

  • 1 stroller and 1 car seat can be checked into the hold at the check-in desk or gate free of charge.

Breeze Airways Checked Baggage Allowance

All checked bags must adhere to a maximum weight of 50 pounds (22 kg) and maximum linear dimensions of 62 inches (157 cm).

  • First Checked Bag: $35 to $41
  • Second Checked Bag: $45
  • Third Checked Bag: $50

Additional and Excess Baggage Fees

  • Log in to your Breeze Guest account on the Breeze app (iOS and Android) and click My Trips.
