Next year is going to be a big one for Breeze Airways.

The ambitious industry newcomer has been granted permission to operate internationally and will start with flights to Cancun, Mexico (CUN), Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ), and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ), in the new year.

“We’re excited to bring the same convenience and elevated experience they love about our domestic flights to 3 exciting new international destinations,” said David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze.

Here’s more on this exciting development.

Breeze’s New International Routes

Breeze will officially enter its international era on January 10, 2026, with its first new route, Norfolk (ORF) to Cancun. The airline will then continue its expansion by adding 6 more, culminating on March 5 with 2 new routes from Raleigh (RDU) to Montego Bay and Punta Cana.

In addition to Norfolk and Raleigh, Breeze will also add international services from Charleston (CHS), New Orleans (MSY), Providence, Rhode Island (PVD), and Tampa (TPA).

Breeze already operates several domestic routes from each of these airports, making them both a great choice operationally and for maximizing connection possibilities from the other U.S. airports it serves.

Detailed in the table below are the launch dates and frequencies of each of the seasonal routes:

This latest route expansion confirms, yet again, Breeze’s dedication to connecting underserved airports with new nonstop routes. It will be the only airline to connect Tampa with Montego Bay, and Charleston, Norfolk, and Providence with Cancun.

Promotional fares for these new flights start at just $99 one-way. Details here.

Hot Tip:

Breeze is different from pretty much every U.S. airline you might have flown before, as it’s neither full-service nor budget.

Final Thoughts

Less than 5 years after its inaugural commercial flight on May 27, 2021, Breeze will fly its passengers internationally for the first time on January 10, 2026. This is a huge step for the airline and one that confirms its place as a key player in the U.S. airline industry.

We look forward to its international launch and more new routes to come!
