Bunkhouse Hotels Now Participating in World of Hyatt

The wait is over. Hyatt has incorporated the first Bunkhouse Hotels property into the World of Hyatt program. Within the next few weeks, more properties will start participating in Hyatt’s loyalty program.

This news comes nearly a year after Hyatt acquired this small but interesting hotel brand. Here’s what you should know about Bunkhouse as its properties roll into Hyatt’s program.

What Is Bunkhouse Hotels?

Hyatt acquired Bunkhouse Hotels in August 2024. These aren’t cookie-cutter properties. Instead, they’re one-of-a-kind locations that “offer more than just a good night’s sleep and a great cup of coffee.” Bunkhouse’s footprint includes California, Kentucky, Texas, and Mexico.

Remember that several The Standard hotels are now participating in World of Hyatt — another brand Hyatt acquired at the same time as Bunkhouse.

World of Hyatt Welcomes Bunkhouse Hotels

World of Hyatt members will enjoy several benefits when staying at Bunkhouse Hotels — though the property you stay at must have started participating to enjoy benefits, earn points, and get stay credit with Hyatt.

Benefits include 5 base points per $1 spent, qualifying nights toward elite status, Milestone Rewards with each stay, and qualification toward the Bunkhouse checkmark with Hyatt’s Brand Explorer benefit.

• July 17: Hotel St Augustine in Houston, Texas (Category 6)

  • Hotel Magdalena in Austin, Texas
  • Hotel Havana in San Antonio, Texas
  • Phoenix Hotel in San Francisco, California
  • Hotel Genevieve in Louisville, Kentucky

By early August, there will be 7 Bunkhouse Hotels participating in World of Hyatt. There are 4 more with unknown dates for future participation, and there may be more properties in the pipeline.
