After a renovation, Cape Grace, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, is open for guests in the gorgeous city of Cape Town, South Africa.

Here’s what you need to know about this newly-opened hotel.

South Africa’s First Fairmont Hotel

Cape Grace, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, is a small boutique with just 112 rooms and suites. All rooms have French windows or balconies, with views of the marina or the picturesque Table Mountain.

Amenities include a restaurant, library, outdoor pool, and pool bar.

The hotel has recently completed an extensive 9-month renovation and is now the first Fairmont property in South Africa. Some features, like the Fairmont Spa and Bascule Bar, will reopen for guests this summer.

Booking Cape Grace

Cape Grace is now open for guests. It is part of the ALL – Accor Live Limitless program, which means you’ll earn points during your stay. However, we’re unable to see how many points are required for a redemption stay.

Given its new designation as a Fairmont, rates are, however, pretty high. A standard room this fall will cost over $900 per night.

If you want to splurge for a more spacious room, the 2,900-square-foot Cape Grace Suite starts at a whopping $8,000 per night!

Hot Tip:

To be eligible for the additional benefits that come with the “Back With Grace Opening Offer,” your stay must be completed by May 31, 2024, and you must book a minimum stay of 2 consecutive nights. Also, guaranteed upgrades are not applicable for 2 or 3-bedroom suites and Waterfront Penthouse Suite reservations.

Final Thoughts

South Africa’s first Fairmont Hotel is fantastic news for fans of the brand. While nightly rates are pretty high, the hotel’s new promo should ease some of the burden. If you’ve been planning to visit Cape Town, now is a great time!
