The 2 no-annual-fee business cards from Chase, the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card and Ink Business Cash® Credit Card, are both excellent options for business owners.

Each card offers great bonus categories, protections that help keep your business covered, and now, best-ever welcome offers each featuring 100,000 bonus points.

Here is how to determine if you are eligible for the no-annual-fee Chase Ink business cards and whether they are a good fit for your business.

Chase Ink Cards Limited-Time Welcome Offers

For the first time ever, the Ink Business Unlimited card and the Ink Business Cash card are featuring their all-time best welcome offers:

  • Ink Business Unlimited card: Earn $750 $1,000 bonus cash back after you spend $8,000 on purchases in the first 4 months from account opening.
  • Ink Business Cash card: Earn $750 $1,000 when you spend $8,000 on purchases in the first four months after account opening.

Based on the welcome offer history on the Ink Business Unlimited card and the Ink Business Cash card, it’s more common to find a $750 welcome offer, or even $900 during limited-time welcome offers. The opportunity now to earn a $1,000 welcome offer is practically unheard of — and certainly won’t last long.

Both cards offer cash-back welcome bonuses, but if you also hold a premium Chase business card, such as the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card, the Sapphire Reserve for Business℠, or personal travel cards such as the Chase Sapphire Reserve® and Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, you can pool the Chase Ultimate Rewards points you earn together to access Chase’s transfer partners.

This allows you to get more value from your Chase Ultimate Rewards points by booking luxury travel for far less than the usual cash cost. It’s why we value Chase Ultimate Rewards points at 2 cents per point, which means 100,000 bonus points are effectively worth $2,000.

Eligibility Requirements for Chase Ink Cards in 2026

To qualify for the Ink Business Unlimited card or the Ink Business Cash card, it’s recommended to have a good personal credit score, ideally 670 or higher. Here are some other main things to know before submitting that application.

1. You Don’t Necessarily Need a Registered Business or an LLC

Did you know that you don’t need to have a large or established business to be eligible for either of these cards? Even if your business is new and you’re opening a business credit card to help with startup costs, you can be eligible for the Ink Business Unlimited card and Ink Business Cash card with your Social Security number (SSN).

Even if you operate your business as a side hustle, freelance, or a sole proprietorship without an Employee Identification Number (EIN), you are still eligible for Chase business cards.

2. New Lifetime Restriction for Welcome Offers

When it comes to welcome offer eligibility, Chase has recently tightened its restrictions. Under Chase’s updated rules, cardholders may receive a welcome bonus offer on either the Ink Business Cash card or the Ink Business Unlimited card — but not both.

For example, if you’ve previously had the Ink Business Cash card, you wouldn’t be eligible for the welcome bonus on the Ink Business Unlimited card, and vice versa. Further, you may not be eligible for the bonus on either card if you have held that exact card before, even if you’ve closed the account.

However, you can still earn welcome offers on the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card and the Sapphire Reserve for Business℠, respectively, as these are considered separate products from the no-annual-fee Ink lineup.

3. Chase’s 5/24 Rule Still Applies

The 5/24 rule applies to all Chase credit cards. Before applying for the Ink Business Unlimited card or the Ink Business Cash card, you’ll want to make sure you haven’t opened 5 or more credit card accounts — from any bank — in the past 24 months.

The nice part, though, is that Chase business cards don’t add to your 5/24 limit. That means you can continue building your business card portfolio without using up one of your valuable 5/24 slots.
