If you hold the Chase Sapphire Reserve® or Chase Sapphire Preferred® card and you plan on going skiing this winter, you’ll find many discounts and perks through Alterra Mountain Company, a partner with Chase Ultimate Rewards. You’ll be able to redeem your points for lift discounts, food and beverage discounts, and other opportunities.
Redeeming Ultimate Rewards Points for Tickets
To access discounted lift tickets, simply log in to the Chase Ultimate Rewards site, click on Experiences, redeem your points for a lift ticket, and you’ll be sent a voucher code within 5 days you can then redeem to actually purchase your ticket. Before visiting the ski resort, you must redeem your voucher code and purchase your ticket, and since it takes 5 days for it to arrive, you’ll want to have it sent to you sooner rather than later.
These are the resorts you can receive a lift ticket at:
- Big Bear Mountain Resort (California)
- Blue Mountain (Canada)
- Crystal Mountain Resort (Washington)
- Deer Valley Resort (Utah)
- Mammoth Mountain (California)
- Palisades Tahoe (California)
- Snowshoe Mountain (West Virginia)
- Solitude Mountain (Utah)
- Steamboat Resort (Colorado)
- Stratton Mountain Resort (Vermont)
- Sugarbush Resort (Vermont)
- Tremblant Resort (Canada)
- Winter Park Resort (Colorado)
Receiving 1 cent per point in redemption value is not the best use of your points as we value Chase Ultimate Rewards points at 2 cents per point. Consider transferring your points, instead, to Chase’s airline or hotel partners where you can redeem points for amazing travel opportunities.
Hot Tip: If you want to save even more on lift tickets, check out where you can fly with Alaska Airlines and ski for free this season at 8 resorts.

These savings don’t come at any extra cost to you and are included in the cost of your annual fee and membership.
