You’ll soon be able to book your next visit to an airport lounge in advance. That’s because the Chase Sapphire Lounge in Phoenix will start accepting reservations for those with the Chase Sapphire Reserve®.

How do you make a reservation, and is there a cost? Let’s examine the details.

Reservations Coming to Chase Sapphire Lounge PHX

Officially titled the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club, Chase’s airport lounge in Phoenix (PHX) will start accepting reservations on June 23, 2025. That means you can reserve your entrance — up to 3 hours before your flight’s departure — before you physically arrive at the lounge.

That’s a nice perk, as you can avoid showing up at the entrance only to find a long line. Those long lines have been a source of complaints for travelers, so this may help with crowd control and guest expectations.

Reservations will be available in the Chase mobile app starting on June 23, 2025. Chase’s notice on the lounge page says reservations will be complimentary and can be made “between 14 days and 24 hours prior to your visit,” so this feature will only help passengers traveling on or after June 24.

Reservations in the app will be available for those with the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, and cardholders can bring up to 2 complimentary guests into the lounge. Additional guests cost $27 each, though guests under 2 years old are complimentary.

Note that Chase’s website says “[r]eservations may be required” at some times.

Hot Tip:

For reference, the Chase Sapphire Lounge at PHX is in Terminal 4 South 1 Concourse, though it’s not near any departure gates. Follow the signs for C and D gates, go past the early D gates as if you’re going to gates D11 to D18, and you’ll see the lounge on your left.

Who Can’t Make a Reservation?

Chase’s website only mentions reservations being available for those with the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, though those aren’t the only passengers who can enter a Sapphire Lounge by The Club before a flight.

Those with the J.P. Morgan Reserve Card and The Ritz-Carlton™ Credit Card have complimentary access to Chase’s airport lounges. It’s also possible to visit a Sapphire Lounge with a Priority Pass membership, though you can only use a Priority Pass membership not obtained from a Chase credit card to visit a lounge in the U.S. once per year. After that, you’ll have to pay a $75 per-visit fee.

Unfortunately, Chase’s announcement sounds like these passengers won’t be able to make advance reservations.
