Some good news just in from Chase.

The Edit by Chase Travel is expanding the type of properties included in its portfolio by introducing vacation homes. And it’s adding more than 10,000 of them right out of the gate.

This is great news for cardholders who’ll be able to enjoy even more perks and benefits when booking stays.

Let’s look at what this means for cardholders and the perks available on these stays.

The Edit by Chase Will Include Homes Starting in 2027

Move over, Airbnb.

Chase is adding over 10,00 vacation homes to its portfolio, coming to The Edit as of January 1, 2027.

The new feature is available only to cardholders of the Chase Sapphire Reserve^®, Sapphire Reserve for Business℠, or J.P. Morgan Reserve Card. These eligible Chase cardholders will be able to use their annual credits (up to $250 per paid stay) toward their vacation home stay.

Hot Tip:

While the annual credits for the Chase Sapphire Reserve and J.P. Morgan Reserve Card are capped at $500, the Sapphire Reserve for Business benefit will double to $1,000 as of January 1, 2027.

The list of chosen homes around the world is curated by Plum Guide and selected based on their comfort, design, and location.

Stays at a vacation home booked via The Edit will also come with $150 of in-stay credit. This can be used for practical things like airport pick-ups or a stocked fridge as well as for luxury moments like massages or a private chef.

The introduction of vacation rentals into The Edit’s portfolio is due in part to the popularity of group trips and friends or family members wanting to stay together under 1 roof, rather than in separate hotel rooms — which often lack anywhere to sit other than the bed.

According to a recent survey by Chase Travel with over 4,000 U.S. participants, 74% of Gen Z and Millennials would be interested in booking a vacation rental in the future.
