IHG has debuted Ciel Dubai Marina, a new Vignette Collection hotel, and it has an important distinction as the world’s tallest hotel.

1,200-Foot-Tall Hotel Now Open in Dubai

Rising more than 1,200 feet tall over Dubai, Ciel Dubai Marina has officially opened for guests.

Offering a whopping 1,004 guest rooms and suites, the new 82-floor hotel has taken the distinguished title of world’s tallest hotel, surpassing Gevora Hotel (also in Dubai), which stands at 1,169 feet.

Amenities include 4 restaurants, offering options such as Mediterranean and Asian fare, a spa, a gym, beach club access, a kids club, and an executive lounge for business travelers.

But perhaps the most exciting amenity is one that also sets a world record: the world’s highest infinity pool, which is the Tattu Sky Pool on the 76th floor.

The hotel’s location offers easy access to attractions such as the Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, and Uptown Dubai. Additionally, Dubai International Airport (DXB) is a 30-minute drive away.
