Those with a Citi credit card can now take advantage of Citi Shop Day 2025, which runs today and tomorrow, August 5 and 6, 2025.

The sale has already begun, but it ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on August 6, giving you 48 hours of online deals. Before this promotion went live, Citi teased offers of up to 20x the savings, but clicking through to some specific offers showed even higher cash-back rates.

To participate in these deals, you’ll need to add the Citi Shop browser extension. Luckily, you’ll be able to install it by following the link above or on your eligible iOS device.

You’ll also need to enroll at least 1 of your Citi cards in the Citi Shop program, a daily benefit that allows you to save money or earn extra points on online purchases, similar to other websites, browser extensions, and cash-back portals.

How Does Citi Shop Work?

Citi Shop is an online browser extension, and you can enroll here to find discounts or extra rewards opportunities for online purchases. Often, these are purchases you were going to make anyway, so paying less or getting extra points is an added bonus.

Once you have the browser extension installed, you’ll be notified if you’re visiting a merchant with a bonus offer that you could activate for money savings or extra Citi ThankYou Points. Alternatively, you can visit the Citi Shop website and search for merchants to see what offers are available before you start browsing products.
