Delta is turning 100, and as part of its Centennial celebration, the Atlanta-based airline has unveiled a special collection of its popular trading cards.

These new cards feature Delta’s new Centennial colors and branding and are now available for passengers to request on their next Delta flight.

This is a fun (and free) way for passengers to remember their flights and celebrate with the airline. Let’s take a look at the details.

Delta’s Centennial Trading Cards

As of March 25, 2025, more than 5 million new trading cards featuring Delta’s new Centennial colors and branding will be available for pilots to share with passengers.

Airline trading cards have grown in popularity in recent years, although Delta has been in the game for more than 20 years.

Delta Air Lines pilots have handed out millions of trading cards over the past 22 years, with over 3 million distributed in 2024 alone. This simple, yet impactful interaction between our pilots and customers elevates and enriches the flight experience – and has created meaningful connections and memorable moments along the way.

Passengers on the following aircraft should ask their pilots if they have any of the limited-edition trading cards:

  • Airbus A220-300
  • Boeing 717
  • Boeing 737-800
  • Airbus A321neo

Depending on the operating carrier, passengers flying on the Bombardier CRJ-900 and Embraer E175 via Delta Connection may also find some of these cards.

Bottom Line:

Delta has special Centennial-themed trading cards available for passengers on select aircraft to celebrate 100 years in business. If you are flying Delta soon, ask for yours!

The History of Airline Trading Cards

Though airlines have been giving trading cards to passengers for decades, the practice has recently taken the internet by storm.

Delta first released trading cards back in 2003 as part of its MD-11 aircraft retirement. Since then, the airline has rolled out 68 unique cards across 7 different series.

If you don’t plan to fly Delta anytime soon but want to guarantee your collectible, Delta is offering an additional way to score a trading card.

Beginning in April, customers can choose a commemorative gift set that will feature 2 limited-edition Centennial livery trading cards when they buy a physical Delta gift card at delta.com/giftcards.

Final Thoughts

Delta is celebrating its 100th anniversary and has unveiled a new collection of limited-edition Centennial-themed trading cards. If you want to add one to your collection, be sure to request one from your pilot on your next Delta flight.
