You might have encountered it most recently when opening your Delta SkyMiles app. On October 29, Delta rolled out what it’s calling “Delta Concierge” in beta form for some members.

“Delta Concierge is more than just a digital assistant—it’s a reflection of how we’re using AI technology to blend the physical and digital experience,” said Eric Phillips, chief digital officer at Delta. “We want Delta Concierge to feel personal, like an extension of the care and service our Delta team members are known for.”

What Does Delta Concierge Do for Travelers?

In its beginning phase, Delta Concierge will only be available to select SkyMiles members. You’ll know if you are one of the chosen few if you see a widget in the form of Delta‘s logo with 2 small stars in the corner of the app’s home screen.

The personalized customer support that Delta Concierge will offer SkyMiles members includes:

  • Up-to-date answers about flights from 24 hours before departure, SkyMiles status, SkyMiles benefits, and more
  • Personalized FAQs based on the SkyMiles members’ travel patterns
  • Help with finding information about eCredits and checked bag tracking

If it can’t help you, the digital assistant will connect you with a real-life member of Delta’s customer care team.

SkyMiles members with Delta Concierge access will be asked for vital feedback to help Delta’s teams make the initiative’s rollout as successful as possible.

As Delta uses feedback to iron out pain points and make tweaks, Delta Concierge will be made available to more members, and new features will be unveiled before the end of 2026.

For not-so-savvy travelers and infrequent Delta flyers, Delta Concierge will likely be a helpful tool on travel days.
