Delta Air Lines has unveiled a significant update to its mobile app that welcomes the addition of several features that customers should love.

The Fly Delta App Gets a Significant Update

Delta’s mobile app, Fly Delta (iOS, Android), has received its most significant update of the year, introducing new, customer-friendly features that should help flyers manage their travel more easily.

Fly Delta’s “7.5” update introduces a new “Flex Calendar” feature, which allows users to browse flight costs across multiple dates. Additionally, this new feature will enable users with a companion certificate to find eligible dates on a given route, which is certainly exciting news for those who have these benefits.

App users on the iOS platform will also see expanded Live Activities functions within the iPhone’s Dynamic Island and on the home screen. This will now display boarding zone, seat assignment, and baggage carousel assignment — all at a glance for users.

Another helpful update is a Sky Club tracker, which tracks how many visits have been used year-to-date in addition to eligible spending toward unlocking unlimited visits.

Delta has also introduced the ability to change your Known Traveler Number (KTN) directly from the app, eliminating the need to visit delta.com.

Finally, the Atlanta-based carrier shared that it will invite a small group of SkyMiles members to try another new feature, called Delta Concierge. A tool powered by generative AI, it’s “designed to complement the care and expertise of Delta’s people, freeing up agents to focus on more complex, one-on-one interactions while giving customers fast, accurate answers,” according to the airline.
