All eyes are on Europe for next summer, including Delta’s.

The Atlanta-based airline has announced plans to launch a new nonstop flight to Reykjavik, the Icelandic capital, in the spring.

Let’s take a look at the details.

Delta’s Boston to Reykjavik Route

Delta is adding its fourth nonstop service from the U.S. to Keflavík Airport (KEF) in Reykjavik — this time from its hub at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).

The seasonal service will start on April 12, 2027, and continue through the summer into early autumn, finishing on October 30.

In contradiction to a rumor that its new Iceland route from Boston will replace Delta’s Iceland service from Detroit (DTW), that route is still available to book throughout 2027.

Tickets for the third-shortest flight to Europe don’t go on sale until the weekend, so schedule and pricing information were unavailable at the time of writing.

A detail we do know, however, is that this route will be operated by Delta’s fleet of Boeing 757-200s. The cabins on these jets don’t offer Delta One‘s lie-flat beds. Passengers can choose from seats in Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main.

Hot Tip:

Planning to fly business class to Asia next year? Then you might consider flying from LAX to experience the new elevated Delta One, starting exclusively on flights from LAX.

Delta’s New European Routes for 2027

American, Delta, and United are all on a mission to connect as much of the U.S. with Europe as possible. Among the new routes coming in 2027, Delta is focusing more on destinations it already serves, while adding new departure airports in the U.S.

Final Thoughts

New Englanders have a new nonstop flight to Iceland to consider when planning a trip to Europe next year. It also means more one-stop itinerary options for travelers departing from elsewhere in the U.S.
