Delta Adds 10 Warm-Weather Routes From Boston for Patriots’ Day

Boston travelers eyeing a warm-weather escape next spring will have even more ways to get there nonstop, thanks to Delta Air Lines.

Just in time for Patriots’ Day 2026 — a uniquely Boston celebration that falls on April 20 — the Atlanta-based carrier is adding 40 nonstop flights from Boston (BOS) to 10 leisure destinations across the U.S. The expansion includes Delta’s first-ever nonstop service to Panama City, Florida (ECP).

Delta will offer nearly 6,000 additional seats from Boston across 6 dates next spring: April 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, and 26, with nonstop service to 10 leisure destinations, including Charleston, South Carolina, and multiple cities in Florida.

Here are the destinations included in Delta’s Patriots’ Day service:

  • Panama City, Florida (ECP)
  • Charleston, South Carolina (CHS)
  • Jacksonville, Florida (JAX)
  • Orlando, Florida (MCO)
  • Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (MYR)
  • West Palm Beach, Florida (PBI)
  • Pensacola, Florida (PNS)
  • Fort Myers, Florida (RSW)
  • Savannah, Georgia (SAV)
  • Sarasota, Florida (SRQ)

The flights will be operated on a mix of mainline Delta and Delta Connection aircraft, offering regional service and the full Delta in-flight experience.

With 7 of the 10 announced nonstop destinations to Florida, Delta is clearly doubling down on demand for sunshine. With spring break around the corner and cold weather still lingering in Boston well into April, the timing makes perfect sense.

“Patriots’ Day is a uniquely Boston celebration, and we’re excited to offer nearly 6,000 additional seats on flights out of Boston to give our customers even more ways to make the most of the long weekend,” said Amy Martin, Delta’s vice president of network planning. “Whether you’re chasing sunshine, reuniting with loved ones, or just taking a well-earned break, these new routes make it easier than ever to take off from Boston and land somewhere sunny.”

These new routes are now bookable on Delta.com and the Fly Delta app.

Hot Tip:

If you prefer to redeem Delta SkyMiles, these new flights are now available for award bookings — but keep an eye out for SkyMiles deals or use the flexible date calendar to find the lowest rates.

Final Thoughts

Delta’s Patriots’ Day expansion means Boston travelers have more chances to shake off the late-season chill with some great warm-weather options — including a brand-new nonstop route to Panama City Beach, Florida.

With extra nonstop flights and more seats available, it might be the perfect excuse to plan that spring getaway — whether you’re after sunshine or just want to avoid layovers heading south.
