Delta is giving select SkyMiles members an easy opportunity to add 500 bonus miles to their accounts. All you need to do is enroll in the airline’s free Delta Business Traveler program.

The offer takes a minute to complete, but not every member will see it. Here’s how it works and where to find it.

Eligible SkyMiles members can earn 500 bonus miles after enrolling in the free Delta Business Traveler program. The offer appears to be targeted. I found it in my SkyMiles account, but my wife didn’t see it in hers, so you’ll need to log in to Delta’s promotions page to check if you’re eligible.

If you’re unfamiliar with Delta Business Traveler, it’s designed for individual business travelers, including business owners, freelancers, and employees of companies of all sizes. Enrollment is free, and members receive access to special offers and benefits from Delta and its partners.

We value Delta SkyMiles at 1.2 cents each, so this 500-mile bonus is worth around $6 toward travel. It’s certainly not a huge pile of rewards, but it’s an easy way to pick up a few extra miles if you own a business or travel for work.

This promotion is only available to new Delta Business Traveler members. Eligible members can earn the bonus once, with a maximum of 500 miles during the promotional period. Enrollment must be completed by December 31, 2026.

How To Enroll in Delta Business Traveler

First, sign in to your SkyMiles account and visit Delta’s Promotions page. Look through your available promotions for an offer titled “Delta Business Traveler: Enrollment Offer.”

If you see the offer, enroll in the promotion and complete your free Delta Business Traveler registration to earn the 500 bonus miles. Simply activating the offer is not enough.

The form asks for basic information such as your business name, ZIP code, industry, business email address, and number of employees. It does not require an Employer Identification Number (EIN) or additional documentation proving that you own or work for a business.

Once you submit the form, you’ll be officially enrolled and all set — no purchase is required.

Delta says to allow 4 to 6 weeks after the promotional period ends for the bonus to be deposited into your SkyMiles account.

Hot Tip:

It’s a good idea to take a screenshot after enrolling, in case you need to follow up with Delta about your bonus miles not posting.
